Super light weight and work for taking my Toaks 750ml pot off our camp stove without burning my fingers.

This little silicone pot holder does not take up ANY room or space in your backpack. It is even smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it really is all you need to be able to grab the handle or lid of a pot cooking over the fire, and not burn yourself. Just what I needed.

This is a coooool little silicone pot gripper. Cool as in your hands don't get hot. I added it with the GSI Kitchen set I purchased for camping. I have purchased several of the GSI items.Pros: It is small. You can stow it inside your cookware or in the kitchen set (if you have one). I like that it has a little magnet on the side. I didn't even notice it, but if you are like me and have trouble keeping up with stuff, I love it. You can totally use in your kitchen and stick it on the fridge. If you are camping, stick it to a put or your mug, whatever. Also, it's orange, matches everything else and is easy to see.Cons: I have small hands so it isn't an issue, but I think it may be a tad small for a bigger guy or someone with bigger than average hands.

This thing is small. I like that, as it is intended to "hide" underneath fuel canister in the concavity. It excels at this feature, and a few others. Easy to clean, very lightweight as advertised.However:The magnet is all but WORTHLESS ! It will NOT STICK to anything well. It wikl NOT STICK to any SS components (like a GSI nesting mug), or Titanium. It will quite poorly stick to a fuel canister. What I mean by this, is if any movement in hand / or pack, results in it NOT staying attached / falling off canister. Overall I like this product, but I was really counting on the magnet working as advertised. Magnet idea is great in theory, poor in execution !

I bought a TOAKS 550ml cooking pot to use with my Soto Windmaster Stove for backpacking, but the handles on the pot get very hot while I'm boiling the water. I needed something to protect my fingers when I grab hold of the handles and this little silicone device serves that purpose without being bulky and cumbersome. It's just enough to do the job! I also like that it's ultralight and stows inside the pot with my fuel canister. It works great for my purposes!

These are so so tiny. Two finger operation tiny. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough. But just a heads up… they are so tiny. Be sure you understand how tiny so tiny is before you decide whether to purchase. They seem fine other than being miniature human size.

It may be called a "micro" gripper, but it is bigger than I expected. I was easily able to stick any two of my fingers into the bowl-shaped area, and then my thumb can pinch down the spare flap to create a pinch grip. The magnet is not as strong as one might hope, and given that it seems a bit useless, so I used the point of my camping knife and gave the gripper a little slit and popped the magnet out, entirely. I am now able to scrunch and squish the pot gripper into even the oddest shaped tiny spaces in my pack.Altogether, I'm glad that GSI decided to sell this gripper independently of its pot sets. It replaced increasingly tiny metal pot grab clamp things. I have tried using a bandana, sock, or fold of my clothing as a pot grab, but in each case some heat still leaked through and I suppose I'm just not as tough when it comes to heat as some others out there. With this pot grab, my hands stay truly insulated from the heat.

What a bummer. This little thing has so much potential. It's small, quick to grab, and could be very useful in the kitchen. But the magnet is small and awful. It barely sticks on the stove/fridge/dishwasher. But anytime you OPEN any of those things… it falls off. There are so many crazy powerful little magnets out there these days, but they opted for the old school 'meh' magnets. Oh well.
