My daughter had a Luau party for my granddaughter's first birthday. I bought this book and asked all the guest to write a note for the birthday girl. The story is adorable and the pictures are beautiful.

I purchased this book for my son (3yo) to keep some of our culture here on the mainland. The book is simple to understand for children and adults, capturing the many meanings of Aloha. The book is a fluid rhyming poem written to keep young children's attention while sharing beautiful artwork.

Although it took a while to receive, it was worth it. The grand children already have one, I wanted one for my library. It's a simple book but a thoughtful book. I read it to a pre=school class and it made me cry a little. How one word can mean so much.

We purchased this for a granddaughter because she’s coming to visit us in Hawaii for the first time and she just absolutely loves the books!

I absolutely love this book. I got it for my kids before we go to Hawaii, where my husband is from. Everything it says is so true about the Hawaiian life. Only con is, I didn’t realize it’s used. I still love it and luckily it isn’t too banged up

This sweet book is my go to for baby gifts! Sweet drawings and a nice size.

This is a really cute book. I bought it to read to my classroom when we did a theme on islands. The kids really enjoyed learning the meaning of "Aloha" and loved saying it to each other. It's a great way to introduce different languages and cultures to children.
