Seafood Cracker Tools Set Lobster Crab Leg Nut Crackers and Picks Walnut Pecan Pliers Metal Opener Tool Heavy Duty with Non-slip Handle

Purchased this set for seafood and steamed blue crab gatherings with my family. We are from Maryland, but live in SC so it is hard to find anything crab cracking related without ordering online. Love this set! It came with everything that was pictured. It came with four plastic picks, four metal picks, one jumbo heavy duty cracker, and three medium size crackers. The crackers and metal picks have a nice drawstring bag for storage as well. To me, heavy duty cracker does have some weight to it and is more for nuts and lobster shells. The medium size crackers work perfect for whole blue crab or snow crab legs. The picks are just an added bonus to this set that makes it even more wonderful ensuring that we don't miss any crab meat in the shell. I used these for Valentine's day dinner and they worked like a charm! This set is a steal for the price especially seeing how a jumbo heavy duty cracker like the one in the set would normally cost the price of the entire set together at any other store. I don't know why I didn't think to order seafood tools online sooner. It would have saved me time looking store to store. Glad I found this set especially at this price and will continue to enjoy them for a long time!

This nutcracker is awesome! It’s shaped to the nut and very strong😁 It comes with a pick so you don’t have to ruin your nails getting the nut out. This would even be a nice gift with a bag of walnuts in the shell. I’m so glad I opted to get this one and not the cheaper straight ones that end up crushing the nut too. This is far superior.

Wow- this is it! Great nutcracker.I always prefer refresh walnuts, but cracking walnuts requires elbow grease and it gets messy! Really a nice product. This is the best nutcracker that i have ever used. Does a great job with little mess and the pecans come out mostly intact. Plus it's really cool looking.Almonds, filberts, brazil nuts, walnuts crack wonderfully and quickly. It fits nicely in your hand and doesn't require a lot of force. Solid metal, well made, and nicely packaged, would make a nice gift. I recommend it.Spend the coin and get this one! This is the best nut cracker I ever use.

My parents went on a roadtrip and brought back a sack of pecans and other nuts. Not wanting to go the hammer route, I went shopping for a nutcracker.So I bought this thinking that if it didn't work, I could always get the cheaper crackers/picks that my family has used for all my life (and long before). I tried it on the entire mixed bag of nuts - Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, and Hazelnuts. Well...I can say that I didn't need any picks or other crackers as the nuts all came out whole with this one. My 8-year-old daughter was also able to easily crack all the nuts. My only complaint is that it actually makes it TOO easy to crack nuts and I(sort of?) missed all the fun of picking out the tiny pieces (but not really). I get why people would think this is flimsy - it is lightweight and doesn't feel solid like most nutcrackers. And when you put a nut in, it really doesn't feel like you've expended any effort - but then the nut pops right out of the shell before you realize it! Try it, and I bet you'll be amazed - and if not, feel free to send me the ones you don't like - even my 3-year old can use these, and we could sit around and crack nuts all night long!

This is just like the nutcracker set I grew up using in design and quality. This notion they don’t make them like they used to is thankfully not alway true! Works great!

Update: after the initial use, it quickly became apparent that the joints were wobbly and not stable. I couldn't really work it out to make it tight again.What impressed me the most was how sturdy this material felt in my hand. I think I can easily crack a walnut, let alone seafood like lobster with this. The joints are strong and the material is strong and easy on my grip. I find this superior to other lobster pincer cracker that looks like just 2 rods. It fits better and doesn't let it go with the grooves inside the mouth. highly recommend.

I bought this for my husband and I asked him to write a review. This is what he had to say:IMPRESSIVE!I never felt the need to have a nutcracker; always found them unnecessary. Used to crack nuts by crushing two of them against each other or by breaking them open using a heavy spoon or something like that. Always found nutcrackers a bit awkward to use and often had a few nuts flying out to the corner of the kitchen while trying to get a crack! But this one changed it for me. It fits perfectly in your hand and you can control your grip throughout the entire cracking process to exert perfect amount of pressure necessary to crack nuts. It also increases the chance of getting the nut shelled while still intact and in one piece. My favorite are walnuts and now I cannot stop eating them; so, if you a weight-watcher do not purchase this nutcracker because it adds a whole new level of pleasure to the process of shelling nuts and of course, eating them. Functionally, cracking a nut is effortless with this cracker. I load a nut and my kids enjoy cracking them too, so a little entertainment while you snack.
