Yes I know it's just a grease gun hose and nipple.
But the darn thing really solved a problem I was having trying to grease suspension components that didn't have fittings on our Ford Escape to get rid of annoying squeak in front end.I tried a simple needle fitting that I bought at Autozone (at about half the cost) that inserted into current hose and fitting on grease gun. All that was good for was grease squirting out between the nipple and where it inserted into the hose. Searched Amazon and found this set up with both the hose and nipple for a about twice the price of just the nipple itself. But boy does this work better. My favorite feature is the fact that I can either screw it directly to the gun or insert it into the existing hose and fitting thereby doubling the effective length of the hose. It has a collar that slides down over the fitting on the hose to give it a sturdy connection and it did not leak grease at the connection unless there was something blocking or really impeding the flow from the needle. And if that is the case you could just attach it directly to the gun.I highly recommend.

Great Grease Needle
I have always had difficulty in getting an appreciable amount of grease into fittings that require a grease needle. Usually large amounts will come from everywhere else on the gun since it is the path of least resistance. However that changed with this very nice grease needle hose. The hose is actually a two piece assembly. First there is a fitting adapter so you can easily attach to your grease gun coupler. Next is the hose and grease needle which is a single piece. Since the hose can be separated from the fitting adapter and is threaded, you can connect the hose directly to your grease gun which in my case eliminated any leaks of grease. The main benefit to the grease needle being integrated into the hose is that you do not have to hold the grease needle as tightly which prevents bending and damaging the needle.I would recommend the product to anyone who is tired of bending grease needles and leaking grease everywhere except where is intended.

Broke after one job
I took the needle off and connected it directly to my grease gun hose. It worked without leaks, but the needle broke after one job on packing wheel bearings (did approx. 4 bearings before breaking, though). However, this kit cost the same as the needles do by themselves. So, I'm not out any more than the cost of the needle. I also bought another brand which I will be testing out when I get the chance.

NO BETTER THAN THE CHEAP CHINA JUNK !
I have bought many of the cheap china made grease needles to grease bearings on lawn equipment in our repair shop. They always bend if you are not extremely careful. I bought this because I had a Lincoln grease gun and thought maybe it would be better, NOT, this must be china made also. This needle did not bend, it broke. Cheap and brittle. Also leaked just as bad as the cheap ones. I will buy more of the cheap china ones from our local auto parts stores. Don`t waste your money buying this one. I`m going to check with our local snap-on dealer.

Worked nicely to fill boot of Ball joint which was not accepting grease through zerk
My XRF lower Ball joints were not accepting any grease through the Zerk, as they claim is normal when new. After two years I still could not get any grease into the BJ, and decided to get grease into the boot with this product.Shortly after bulging the boot slightly with this product, the zerk started allowing the grease gun to inject grease into the ball joint through the Zerk. The minimal hole caused by the needle is not an issue, and I am happy the grease is where it needs to be, and can now be purged from the ball joint as designed.

Needle is flimsy.
Nice Idea. Needle is very flimsy and not really for long term usage. Be careful or yours or will snap too. Greased 4 fittings and snapped.

Grease where you. Need it!
With it I was able to get grease into several front end seals that don't have zirconia fittings. Exactly who was the idiot that came up with reassess seals? Anyway. The squeak is gone and I didn't have to spend the hours and hundreds of dollars. How can you beat that?
