OFM ESS Collection Armless Task Chair, in Black (ESS-101-BLK)

This is a well made chair with very good padding (In this price range).It feels extremely solid and has no squeaking sounds or other issues. The feet our about two inches more spread out than other chairs in our office of this size, so I guess tipping over is less likely.I removed one star because the chair does not go down low enough! I have it set on the lowest position and I cannot fully get my legs fully under my computer hutch. I am about 6ft tall and 200lbs. I guess someone who is smaller would not have this issue. The chair this replaced went down about 2" lower and was perfect for me. I also miss the back rest adjustment knob that many chairs have. This chair has an almost vertical back rest and there is no way to adjust it.

If I could, I would give this chair a 10 Star for the Quality and the Price. When you get the chair, you only have to put 8 screws in place with an allen wrench that is provided. The label says that the chair has new materials and that it is certified for low chemical emissions. This chair has superior quality for its workmanship as far as (1) the quality fabric on the seats and (2) how the "metal screws" fit into the "metal" female parts. Everything lined up perfectly. If you were to buy this chair in a store already assembled, you would pay well over $150. Once it is assembled, there is no wobble, you get very thick padding for the seat and the seat back, and the chair rollers easily glide over my carpet. In addition, the "gas lift" works very nicely to raise or lower the seat. I am so pleased with my purchase, and if you trust my review, you will be too.

It was a bit of a challenge to assemble, but was quite comfortable once it was set up.

I bought this chair to help with nerve and muscle issues after a multi-impact auto accident.My previous chair was not helping, plus I was having some foot/ankle swelling. Those have improved with this chair and I am having less nerve pain and cramping when sitting.I do use a chair pad on top of this chair’s seat, but even without it, I still enjoy this chair. I do feel that the seat could use some extra padding.Its build quality is high and I feel that it is a good value. I am glad I purchased it.

This task chair is very comfortable. Previous chair from elsewhere did not have easy rolling wheels, this one responds very very quickly. Very good buy.

Hey it is not a 5 star chair but it is a good chair for the price! STURDY was what I was looking for and it is!

I turned the chair upside down once to clean the bottom of my wheels. Success! But now when I sit on it, the chair sinks down, down, down - until it's at its minimum height. This was after six months of use. Sat on it for 3 hours a day 5 days a week.

This is a very comfortable, roomy and sturdy chair. Rolls very easily on the floor and the chair is constructed very well. I do not really lean back in the chair, but it has a tension knob on the bottom for that very purpose. A very good purchase for the price, and I received the chair in only a couple of days even though I ordered on a Saturday. For those worried about putting it together, anyone can do it, all tools (an Allen Wrench) are included...and it took less than 15 minutes. I would definitely purchase this again!

really a great chair but the back is a little crooked higher on one side than the other dont want to have to return because had to pay for someone to put together take it apart Im a senior then i would have to get another one and get it put together again so maybe you could give me a something off other wise it is well built
