It doesn't mater what kind of bird you have I think this is best supplement for birds. I have used this on my chickens and on an injured dove. The dove had hit the window so hard it burst one of her eyes. She was walking in circles in shock. I put her in a dark box and the next morning I got some of this. I fed her with a syringe to keep her hydrated while I got ahold of an bird rehabber. It was the weekend so I fed her this all weekend. By the time I gave her to them on Monday the dove had quit circling and was opening her beak to be fed like she was a little one when she saw the syringe. Her burst eye had drained and was drying up. She was ready for solid food again. Her brain was healing.I have also used the sheep/goat version of this and I got weak lambs and goats on their feet long enough to nurse. I believe in anything this company makes even if I haven't tried it yet.

I had hatched out quail and 2 died per day 2 days in a row, so i tried adding just a cap full of this and quail stopped dying and are doing great now. I swear by this stuff for all of my new born birds. Highly recommend.

I hatched 20 chicks this year on our small family farm. This product is a must have for anyone keeping Chickens. I used it to help give my babies a boost their first week of life. All 20 are growing and thriving now. This also works well when members of your flock Are sick or are under stress. It is a dark brown color so it can stain, but washes out of clothing easily. It smells similar to chewable vitamin vitamins.
