T.N. Dickinson's Astringent, 100% Natural, Witch Hazel 16 fl oz (473 ml) (2 Pack)

This is the first time I've bought witch hazel. I've been battling ants in my kitchen for weeks and nothing was working. I'm an essential oil enthusiast and had read that ants (and spiders, mice, and all creepy crawlies) hate peppermint oil. But you need witch hazel as it can turn the oil into an aerosol. It took two or three times, but the buggers are gone. I also use it (mixed with frankinsence) on my face as an astringent to remove makeup. I'm going to mix some with clove oil for a mouthwash because it's good for irritated or infected gums. It can be used on sunburn, and can stop bleeding while disinfecting cuts. Witch hazel clears up diaper rash, heals bruises, reduces varicose veins, shrinks the bags under your eyes (and hemorrhoids), reduces itching from poison ivy and bug bites, and is used in DIY deodorants. As a native plant of North America, it was used to treat tumors and eye inflammation. This has become a staple in my home, and I look forward to discovering more uses.

I’ve always had “good skin” I would get some pimples here and there but a few months back it started getting worst and I was struggling with acne. I had breakouts everywhere. My forehead, my cheeks and chin. I was trying different products but nothing worked. So I decided to get rid of my old products and purchase new ones and start a new skin care routine. (Mostly natural inexpensive products) My skin has gotten so much better since I started applying this witch hazel. I’m very happy with it! In less than a month I’ve already noticed a huge difference! I’m definately going to stick to this skin care routine because my skin is clearing up so fast. Here is my skin care routine in case you want to try and see if it works for you as well....I do this every Morning and nightI cleanse my face with Virgin/Organic Coconut Oil (on days I apply a full face of makeup I will do this step twice at night)Then I apply witch hazel all over my face using a cotton padLast, I apply raw shea butter as a moisturizer (you can choose to apply this only at night and use something lighter in the mornings because makeup will slide right off )Some days/nights I use Biore Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleanser after following the coconut oil step ( I used it more when my acne was bad but now that my face has gotten better I use it less)I prefer exfoliating at night and I usually do this after the coconut oil step and before using the Biore Acne Cleanser. To exfoliate I use St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub.These are the only products I’ve been using and they have worked their magic on my face. Hopefully this helps you too!

This stuff is amazing! I have struggled with acne for a very long time. I've tried everything on the market. A friend recommended this to me. Within just a few days I noticed a difference with my skin. I use it as a facial toner, but it has lots of other uses. You can even use it to clean out your pets' ears, make homemade cleansers, clean minor wounds, etc. It's extremely versatile and really helps with acne. It's also a great price, and you get two giant bottles. A little goes a long way, so two big bottles will last a long time.It has a slightly strange smell, as all Witch Hazel does. But it's very minor and well worth it.

This brand really is one of the best, at any price..It's easy to settle when it comes to something like this...Just about every major drug store has their own brand, and there are also cheaper ones to be had at places like Walmart...But if you're really interested in the purest you can find, stick with this...What I have in the house presently is a store brand that states that its 84% pure witch hazel...Not bad, but this stuff is 100% and cost just pennies more...You can smell the purity and freshness just opening the cap...And in use its superior..The price on this two pack with free Prime shipping can't be beat. I checked the price locally and at other places and it when you consider the saving on sales tax and traveling time, gas, its a solid deal. Unless the price increases dramatically, I will be getting it here from now on, and this brand as well. Great price, product, and deal...Highly Recommended...

I don’t buy this for the scent, personally it isn’t my favorite and honestly I don’t want any fragrance on my sensitive skin. This witch hazel is unmatched, unparalleled. I prefer to buy in store but lately haven’t been able to find and luckily amazon sells it. I’ve been using this witch hazel for a year now and I don’t see myself using any other skin toner. I have acne prone and sensitive skin, this product is one of the reasons why my skin has cleared up. I use it after I’ve washed my face and before I apply my serums and creams. I put some on a cotton swab and wipe my face gently, then I go in with another soaked cotton swab and lay the product into my skin, again gently. Sometimes I add a few drops of tea tree oil to super clean my face. Thank you!!
