Not just for trail use!!! A great camera with MANY uses
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a very cool device, that I think I'll get a lot of use for. We live in a fairly rural area, and will no doubt use it to see what kinds of wildlife is roaming around our property. But I also got it thinking about other uses. Like seeing what kind of animals are raiding our bird feeders (only birds in the pictures and video attached!). Or whether there are mice coming into our house where we think they are. Or seeing what the horses are up to when we're not there. Or which dog is stealing food off the counter!!!The camera is very easy to set up for first use. You should know that it does not come with a micro USB card or the 8 AA batteries it requires, so be sure to have those on hand before you get it. Also be sure to take off the thin film that is on all of the sensors, camera lens, and light. I missed the one on the camera lens, and couldn't figure out why it just kept taking pictures continuously (Duh!). Also the on/setup/off switch is a bit hard to locate (it's inside the camera when you open it up, on the bottom left. The camera has many options, including (1) whether it will take a picture, video, or both when it senses motion, (2) the quality of the video and pictures, (3) the sensitivity of the motion sensors, (4) how long the video should go, (5) the refractory time during which it won't take another video/picture, and many other settings. The picture quality is very good! You have to play with it awhile to get good focus depending on what you want to capture, but it comes with a very cool stand that you can attach permanently with screws, or temporarily, as well as a strap that you could use to attach to a tree or post. The other cool thing about this trail camera is that you can get a preview of what it captures without having to take the card out and bring it to your computer. It has a screen inside when you open the hinge, so you can preview the pictures/videos to see if it's worth looking further, or if you just want to delete all to free up space on the card! This comes in handy in many cases, and especially when you're trying to set it up in the best locations/angles, etc.The build quality seems great (it already fell once off my porch balcony to the porch (about four feet), but was fine. The stand allows you to put it at multiple angles and heights, and is easy to install and adjust. The camera itself is a little bigger than about three playing card boxes stacked together.I haven't tested the night vision aspect, and can't yet comment on how long the battery life is (especially given where I put it first, trained on our very busy bird feeder!), but I'm really looking forward to trying out the many uses I have planned. Who knows, we might even get a picture some day of a bear or even a mountain lion, both of which we are pretty sure come by sometimes, but neither of which we've ever been able to find! All in all, I'm very pleased with this trail camera, and can recommend it highly if you have one of the uses, or if you want to use it for the trail!!!!

REALLY don't like the micro SD card for memory
I give this product three stars overall because the daytime picture quality is very good, and the night picture quality is a little better than average in my opinion. However, using a micro SD card for memory, and placing the slot to insert it on the bottom of the control panel, and almost all the way to the back, was a really stupid idea. In the dark it's impossible to remove or install the card without a flashlight, and good luck finding that tiny card if you accidentally drop it on the forest floor. If they insist on using a micro SD card, they should at least put the slot on the FRONT OF THE CONTROL PANEL WHERE YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING. This unit also came with ZERO instructions; luckily, I have set up numerous game cameras before, so I had no problem stetting it up, but if this is your first game camera ever, you're probably going to be pretty frustrated getting it going. When I download the pictures on to my computer, if I zoom in at all on the pictures, they get super grainy, so discerning fine details in the pictures is not a realistic option. I recommend buying a different camera; hopefully you can still find one that uses full size SD cards.

Sturdy camera. Smartly designed. Great motion capture and image quality.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So far, I am very impressed with this camera. I've purchased an Action Cam by Campark before and I've been very happy with that. So I was excited to learn that they make several different models of motion sensing Trail Cameras. I purchased the camera because we often have some deer in our backyard, and occasionally some larger animals. I wanted to be able to see how often they come around.Firstly, the camera feels very well built. It has some weight to it even before putting any batteries in. And I thought it was pretty clever that it can run on either 4 or 8 AA batteries, depending on how long you want it to run before have to change them out. It comes with a long strap for securing it to a tree or a pole so that's what I used to mount it.I've seen some of the other daytime photos and videos that people have captured with it and they look great, but what I really wanted to see was how well it performed at night. I was not disappointed. I haven't had any critters just yet so I had to do some simulations to test it out. I tried walking in from the sides at a good distance away (30+ feet) and it started recording as soon as I was within the frame of the wide-angle camera lens. My ultimate test was walking slowly, directly towards the camera, in and around some trees, and in nearly a pitch black environment. As advertised, the camera's motion sensor saw me at about 65 feet out (20m) and started recording. I was wearing black pants and shoes, a black jacket and a grey T-shirt. In my video, you can see me stumbling over some tree stumps as I walk through the dark. The camera captured some pretty clear detail in my clothing and surroundings.Earlier that evening, around dusk, I was doing some testing during some light precipitation and the camera had no trouble discerning my movement from the falling rain. Very impressive.* The settings menus are easy see and to navigate.* The buttons are tactile, so they are easy to find in the dark, but they are also sealed so as to prevent any moisture from getting in.* Once you switch the camera from Setup to Active, it gives you a 15 second countdown to allow you time to close the housing and secure the clips on the side. This is to prevent it from detecting the visual movement of the front cover closing and accidentally triggering it to record.* I like how the camera records the date, time and temperature along with the photos and video.* Another feature that I am excited about but have not yet tried is Time Lapse recording (snapping an image at preset intervals - 10sec, 1min, etc.). This in combination with the Target Time feature should allow it to capture the interval images during the day, but keep it in standby mode during the night.I'm looking forward to seeing all the local wildlife now that I have this camera. I highly recommend it.

Good quality Pic's and Vid, good range at night.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is the second Trail Camera that I've purchased, more of an upgrade than anything else. The first one I bought got me my first pictures of the Badgers on my land (I'd been here for nearly 20 years before I got to see one!)This trail camera is faster on the take, .3s. This makes a big difference when it comes to getting the pictures or missing them. Lots of a personalisation available in the menu, I'll pop a video on for you to watch. The daytime video is very good quality and you get to see everything on the infrared at night time, also this has a really good range (watch the video). I just use the supplied strap to put around trees but it does come with a bracket that can be screwed to a surface. Battery life on these things is amazing and although it says on the box that it supports up to 32GB Micro SD card, I have been using a 64GB card in this.A word of warning, when you play back the AVI video clips on windows, they are speeded up but it says if you use VLC or something similar then that is corrected. I have been editing in Nero and that sorts out the video as well. All in all, if you get one of these, you will see a whole new side to where you live, all the nocturnal animals, this could also include burglars as well if you want to use it for security..... Certainly a good value recommendation from me and my family.

What a wonderful piece of equipment
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Unfortunately, my garden is all concrete with high fences and no entrance at all for animals or so that was what I thought. I noticed on my house cctv recordings that there was a hedgehog in my garden, so I ordered a hedgehog house, hay, and food. The house and food were delivered the same day which after seeing the plight of hedgehogs on the television last week really pleased and excited me. I put food and water next to the hutch and the next morning it was gone food dich and all. So that evening I put food out again but placed the food (in another dish) inside the hutch and again the next morning the food was gone and the dish again which puzzled me greatly. So, I bought the camera and set it up. What a wonderful piece of equipment 😊 Now, I know what is going on in my garden when I am in the arms of Hypnos. It is truly amazing to get up in the morning and see pictures and videos of the nights before performance. And Mrs Fox who collects dishes :)

Easy to use, fit and forget.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Easy to use. Place it where you want it, open the case, switch it on, close the case and leave it.Regular AA batteries and it seems to have really long life from these.Tripod fixing if needed.Automatically switches to night vision. Can choose to take video, photos or both.In the pictures I've shown what is included in the box. The manual isn't really needed, and my eyes can't read that small anyway. Its a fairly easy to set up through the menu.It can hold 8 AA batteries, although only needs 4 to run, I imagine the other 4 will give more longevity. The photo's look a little washed out, because the camera lens has no IR filter. This is normal for night vision cameras, as they make use of the IR to be able to see. Night shots are black and white, which again is completely normal.Considering the low cost, this is a neat little package and seems to be robust enough to be left outdoors in the British weather.

Solid trail cam, easy to use and great value for money- definitely would recommend
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have been monitoring a local family of badgers, and this has been a great addition to my other trail cams.First of all, the "Green" is a perfect colour for UK woodland and hedgerow blending- a much more natural colour than my other cameras. Setting it up is really simple and intuitive. The instructions are fairly basic, but there is no need to give more detail. It takes up to 8 AA batteries (it can run on 4 though). It comes with a number of ways to attach- I just use the strap as I like to move the camera around to find the best position. It has survived gales of wind, so the strap is fairly sturdy if you attach it well.Weatherproof: So far it has been out in high wind, driving rain and some light snow. It has experienced freezing temperatures and works perfectly. Sometimes there is a slight delay (literally a few seconds) when I come to turn it back to "setup" mode, but when it's been on standby for 48hours in the frost its understandable. The battery has not gone down at all, even with the weather, so it looks good on that front.I like the motion sensors that point in individual directions as it means I will get the animal more centre in the frame. I have another camera that has one motion sensor and I often end up with the rear end of an animal as it has triggered too late. The trigger speed is good, and you usually get good footage of a fast moving animal coming through.Motion sensor sensitivity: You have three options of sensitivity, I have it at most sensitive. Often with this you end up with videos of trees with wind blowing them, but I have hardly had this happen. Generally this is good as I don't have to delete loads of pointless clips, but there is a chance it could miss something small. That being said, I have captured a mouse at night that I didn't see until the light reflected in its eyes!Photos/Video: So far I have not had much luck with the photos it has taken, but I think this is largely due to the fact that the badgers like to come right up and sniff it so I just get white noise as the infrared light is reflected too close. The cat going by shows the capabilities it has to take photos, and I can't wait for summer when there is better light. The videos are very good. Again I usually start with the badger sniffing the camera then turning away so they are a bit white due to the close proximity- that is my fault and I need to relocate the camera away from their noses. I have attached a video from my other camera (similar make) that shows the reactivity of the T45-1, the first flash is it taking the photo, and the steady light is the video. I can only upload one video to this review so I chose the one showing how responsive the camera is as the badger just carried on and walks out of the frame on the T45-1 video of the same moment. The other screenshot is from a video that is the only one where I have captured 2 at the same time!In summary, this is a great wildlife camera and has been reliable so far, is so simple to set up, and it is really good value for money. The only reason the photos have not been any good yet is my placement of it and the badgers' great liking for coming right up to it. I have great confidence that once I have moved it, it will produce some more cracking images and video.

Great Little Camera
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bought this to see what if anything was in the garden. Having used it over several days and nights I have to say I am impressed with the camera the picture and build quality is very good as is the battery life, it is very easy to set up within the menu system. Once set up its just a case of fixing it where you want the camera either with the stap or the mounting bracket so overall a camera that is well worth the money buy it you won't regret it
