I bought this paper back
To protect my signed hardcover that I bought at a signing 17 years ago cuz I'm always concerned when I reread it that I might damage it I read it at least once a year I love this book now I can read it without being concerned something might happen to the signed copy! Side note it's also interesting that the paperback has a different cover my hardback has a blue cover with the picture of him not in shades and not smiling.

You think you know him
Apologies for the title. I can't even to imagine how many have used it so far.Anyway, Adam Copeland On Edge is good, if short, read. Being a big fan of his tag team days with his "brother" Christian, sorry Edge but I'm a Peep, I was eager to learn how the two got into the business.I appreciate his attitude of "if you want something, don't waste time waiting".Other autobiographies I've read, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho come to mind, have quite a bit of inspiring points. Be warned that you won't that here.I'm not saying that the hard work Mr. Copeland, doesn't feel right referring to him but his first name, is not inspiring, but rather that he tells you his story as record of history. Knowing that he did multiple tours in northern Canada during the winter months, and driving across frozen lakes to get to shows that paid less than a hundred dollars, Canadian, each is a testament to just how dedicated, and stubborn, he is to his dream. So to sum up. Adam Copeland On Edge is the story of a young man's dream and his journey towards it. It may not be heavy with sentimentality that tells you how to feel. He just takes on his journey and you learn about his trials and tribulations along the way.Now that he's no longer wrestling, though I'm glad that he's on Haven, I would be interested in reading a new book, but that is for when that book comes out.In the mean time, any Edgehead would do themselves a disservice to ignore this book.

Truly a FANTASTIC book...Must read for all Edgeheads...
I decided to order this book for myself as my treat/late birthday gift since I didn't get anything last month(May)so I thought, what a better way then to just purchase a gift card for myself, & order whatever on Amazon& THIS book was it, since I'd read the previews for it before...so after doing that, I was just ITCHING to have the bookin my hands & to read it in its entirety. To be perfectly honest I'm glad I did get myself something great! =)I received this book just a few days before the actual delivery date in the morning...As soon as I opened my package,I IMMEDIATELY started reading the book...I just couldn't put it down...Read the entire book in less then 24 hrs...Such a fantastic & very easy read as well...It truly felt like as if Adam(Edge) Copeland was actually telling you the story himself =)The pictures that were included in the book were really great as well, ESPECIALLY the few colored photos whichin my personal opinion were STUNNING.To all those who are a fan of Edge or (wrestling, in general) I highly recommend this book...5/5 starsAnd before I forget, am definitely looking forward to a newer/updated edition, if that ever comes to fruition at some point in time.

Great, but not a tell-all.
Very good read. Adam gives great stories about growing up, paying his dues on Canadian road trips, and the first half of his career in WWE. He wrote this while recovering from neck surgery and as such it takes place before he becomes World Heavyweight Champion and before the whole Lita scandal. I would have liked to hear his take on these parts of his career, but you do hear about how he went from a fan as a kid to running the ropes with his idol Hulk Hogan.

1 Of The Best Wresting Biographies EVER
This book was very good. It tells the story of Adam Copeland a.k.a. Wwe Superstar Edge. It starts out with his humble beginnings to the long road to superstardom in the Wwe through the high and lows of his career. With his retirement came another chapter in his life and thus created many stories you will find in this book. Once I started reading I didn't want to put our down. If your a wrestling fan, you will love this book like I did.

One of the better Wrestler Bios out there
With Adam "Edge" Copeland really being one of the last major stars to come into the WWE via the indy system that has actually succeeded in the WWE, this book is a great read. Unlike Mick Foley's Have A Nice Day, You can tell Edge had to struggle to get what he wanted out of life and dealt with set-back after set-back. Outside of one minor fact error (referring to a six man tag between Team ECK vs Too Cool at the wrong PPV event), Edge goes into detail about all the major events that helped shaped his career up till mid 2004

RATED R SUPERSTAR...................
If I have one complaint with this book, it is that it was written too soon. A lot of water has passed under Edges's bridge since he wrote this book.Who is the most dedicated, most loyal, most sincere, most personable, most enthusiastic wrestler in the WWE? - EDGE. Nobody would argue with this. The author tells us all about his early days his love for his mother and his grandparents, and his rise to 'near' glory. He had not at the time of writing become World Champ. He goes into two hundred plus pages of detail about his matches and feuds and does so in such a manner that the reader thinks they would like to meet this cool dude. He is one of life's optomists and you can feel him smiling whilst he recalls these memories. He also throws in a few witty anecdotes outwith of his ring experiences.I have already said that her wrote it too soon (mind you it was written whilst he was off injured). Lita has now left; Benoit and Test have died; (Benoit in anything but mentionable circumstances), What of his 'R' rating? His marriage to Vicki? His World Championships? Jay off to TNA and back again; Foley likewise.Come on Edge! Write a sequal!Great read though.

Humerous and enjoyable read
What a good read, thoroughly enjoyed it. I have read a few wrestling bios and this is by far the best, he doesn't take himself too seriously but worked so hard to become the wrestler we all know and love. A very grounded and likeable man with a great story told brilliantly.

Good read
Great read, has some good banter going, my only criticism is that he wrote it to early in his career. Hopefully they'll be a follow up!
