Case LogicLaptop and MacBook Sleeve 13.3", Black (LAPS-113Black)

It is important to know that this is a very basic Laptop Sleeve. There are no inner or out pockets. It's a sleeve for a laptop without any extra stuff. Barebones.It's very good. It serves its purpose well.The padding is a smidge over 1/4 of an inch. Plenty of padding unless you like to throw your bag on the ground in a rush. This is not for you. You will probably need a metal case. =DOn a serious note, this case logic laptop sleeve is really high quality for a product that is only $13-14. The value is pretty incredible.I've read some people complain about the new smell. It may depend on how recently your laptop sleeve was made. The one I just received today does have the new smell (as it should!), but only if I put my nose up to it, like 1-inch away then I can smell the "new smell." I have it sitting on my desk right now about a foot away and I can't smell it at all. The smell doesn't rub on to your hands/skin either.Okay, the question that seems to be lingering on most people's minds is the size and fit. I have an Asus Ultrabook SC500A with a screen-size of 15.6-inches. Mind you, screen-size DOES NOT EQUAL laptop's overall size. I think this is the problem with most of the buyers making these complaints. Measure your laptop first and then check with the manufacturers listing. In most cases, always go a full inch larger with cases.With my Asus Ultrabook 15.6" screen laptop, it barely fits. It's a snug-fit but by no means do I have to force it in there. The zipper isn't grazing my laptop or anything. That was my major concern!Other things I should mention is the color. It's black. It isn't a funky, faded black color that comes off brown. I think that is pretty important to know. There are some cheap dyes being used out there. It's pure black and it looks good.Even the zipper handle has this covering on it so that it doesn't hurt your hand when you pull it. I thought that was a nice touch and it adds even more quality to the overall product.Overall, I'm extremely pleased. For this price, it's highway robbery. I'd like to thank Case Logic for providing products that have fair pricing, and many times great value. I know there are a lot of poor, hungry college students out there and most of them have laptops that need a good case that isn't going to crush your wallet. Overall this is a good case for temporary storage and transport of your laptop. I place my laptop within after use at night or if I am carrying it to another location or transporting in my car. It does have a bit too much room so I kept the foam pad that came with it for extra padding and just place my laptop inside. Since my HP Envy laptop 17.3" is probably one of the more thin laptops out there the extra room within the neoprene case was too much. The laptop was basically swimming within, so the foam packaging pad that came with it takes up the extra room. Overall good case, nice appearance and design with a good zipper. This would not protect the laptop from a fall or drop but it is great for a cover and adds moderate protection, probably good enough for a light rain or any spills. For me it also doubles as a lap pad for which I set the laptop on top of when working. Caselogic makes pretty good products and I own several of their camera cases and computer accessory cases. If you are looking around at different manufactures, Lowepro and Tamrac are also excellent products however mostly camera related.

Case Logic makes good quality cases and this one no exception. It fit perfectly but sometimes a little hard to take out if you have a 17 inch Dell Precision laptop due to snug and tight fit.

Purchased for the current model 13.3" MacBook Air -- works fine. Laptop fits fine but is not snug -- you can tell that there is some excess room in there but practically it doesn't make a bit of difference to me. You can't expect a generic sleeve to fit every laptop perfectly. I needed something to keep my laptop in at home when not in use and keep it from getting scratched up when it was in my back pack. This does all that. Anyone who thinks that a soft sleeve will really "protect" their laptop from anything more than that is just kidding themselves. If you're looking for something that will allow you to sit on, drop, throw, or drop-kick your laptop and protect it, then this is not the case for you. If you have reasonable expectations, than this will work fine for your Mac Book Air. Of note, I have no other cases on my laptop - I imagine if I had a hard shell over it that it would be more snug. I couldn't give it 5 stars because I tried out several other types of sleeves in the store and they all fit pretty much the same -- let's be honest, this is a laptop sleeve, not some fine work of art. It works fine and it was a reasonable price.

Almost 10 years later and still holding strong. Honestly a really good case and after a lot of moving around and many years, still in perfect condition. Would highly recommend.

This Laptop Sleeve is perfect for my Dell Inspiron 11 3168 (3000 series) in every way !! It is exactly what I wanted: Inexpensive; Great looking; very protective; and perfect fit - not to loose not too tight !!I considered this model Case Logic LAPS-111 11-11.6" - and the other similar model - the Case Logic ELS-111 11". When you look at the product info page at Amazon for the Case Logic ELS-111; it says this unit is sligtly larger than the LAPS (even tho the name suggests it is a bit smaller). It also says in the comparison matrix on that page that the "Enclosure Material" for the LAPS-111 is PLASTIC - while the enclosure material for the ELS-111 version was canvas !! THIS IS INCORRECT. The LAPS model has the same soft foamy / canvas type material inside and out !! It almost swayed me to get the ELS version - but the reviews for LAPS model indicated a better fit for my laptop - so I went with it. I'm glad I did !!In summary - my Dell Inspirion 3168 outer dimensions are W: 11.5" H: 8" Depth: 7/8". And this case fits perfectly. Mine did come with a foam insert which you could insert with the Laptop to snug up the fit (as suggested by some reviewers) but I don't see the need !!!

Ótimo para proteger o Notebook, o material é bem resistente e protege contra impactos sem problemas. O único ponto de atenção foi que, ao utilizar, senti falta de um compartimento para colocar fios, carregador etc.Comprei sabendo que não tinha bolso ou compartimento e achei que não seria um problema. Mas na prática estou sentindo falta quando quero transportar apenas o Notebook sem usar uma mochila nas costas.

A Sleeve Case Logic LAPS para Laptop & Macbook 13.3" Black, me agradou muito de modo geral e não há ponto negativo que desabone o produto. Ficou um pouco larga no meu DELL Inspiron 13 (5330), mas eu deveria ter me atentado às medidas antes.Faço uso diário e coloco a Case com notebook dentro da mochila.
