Love this device! So many things are going to USB charging these days and are usually low quality. This however is great! It is easy to use, easy to know when it's on, and no more burning myself with hard to reach wicks! It does have a distinct/aggregating high pitch noise when activated, but it only lasts for a few seconds.

the days of burning the tips of my fingers trying to light a candle are GONE! I love this. i’ve had mine for months and it still works like it’s brand new. it’s a USB charger, but it has an off and on switch to save the battery. for as long as i’ve had it, I haven’t had to charge it once and I use it everyday. it lights the wicks quickly. i’ve bought this as a little gift for family members and friends and they love it too

I am a full believer of making sure I have certain things on hand, just in case I might need them. Well, this is definitely one of those items that everyone needs to have around!!Now, I will admit that I am a smoker, although I have been cutting down drastically as of the last several months. (hopefully I can keep it up!) and one of my the things that annoys me so much is when my lighter quits or I'm not able to purchase lighter fluid. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to that! Well, if you purchase this handy dandy item, you will never have to be in that position again!!No more buying disposable lighters or cans of lighter fluid!! Just flick the little switch on the bottom, then push the black button on the side upwards and viola!! It is awesome and can mean so much in emergency situations.Now, I will tell you something about this that I did not know about.... If you have any pets like we do (4 cats) don't be shocked or upset or something like that if your pet freaks out the moment you push the side button upward and you see that little bit of lightning. I think that the sound frequency that comes from it is unpleasant to them. However, after a lot of research and talking to professionals, this is not harmful to them at all. It's basically like how some people are when hearing nails on a chalkboard. So I just wanted to give you a heads up about this because I did not know that.Other than that, I've been using this off and on for months now and it's just fantastic!! Perfect for lighting candles, especially when it's birthday candles and you're outside with windy conditions. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

So far I am loving this lighter. It's like a gift from the future that we didn't realize we needed. If you're a candle addict like myself, you'll find yourself going through lighters like crazy. They just don't last like they used to, and matches are for emergencies only in this household. Frightening little fire sticks, really. But the fact that this lighter came with a charger to somehow keep pumping life into this futuristic gadget makes me want to dive into whatever other related scientific creations I've yet to discover that will make my life simpler. I feel very fancy using it also. Not a boujee girl but, not hating on it either. Hate having company normally but I'm excited to have an excuse to whip this thing out and show it off. Bought with my birthday money amongst other practical adult things and this is giving *more bang for your buck / boujee* all in one. Can't rate the battery life unfortunately because it is still brand new but I am excited to see how long this bad boy lasts. I use these to light candles and hate when I get a deep candle that is hard to light, sometimes even the flame has to tilt in such a way that I still end up almost burning my fingers. So when I saw this I had to try it! The packaging is very basic and kind of cheesy, definitely looks like a typical made in China kind of item. Every time I light it my husband and daughter complain it hurts their ears, apparently it emits a very high pitched sound that I can’t hear, and if I do I don’t care. I play with it a lot just because it’s neat and I try to blow out the flame and you literally can’t. I bet this would be perfect for someone who is a smoker outside since the wind is a factor in trying to light whatever you’re smoking so that’s definitely a plus.I give this a lower star rating because I bought a second one to have upstairs so I don’t have to keep going up and down stairs just to get this to light candles on each floor and the second one that came stopped working almost immediately. I light one 3 wick candle and went to light another one and it wouldn’t turn on at all. The blue light was still on on the bottom so I didn’t think it could be dead. Put it on the charger for a few hours just to be sure and it still won’t work so it’s basically a dud right out of the box. I did get a replacement which seems to be fine but I’m concerned now at how long they’re going to last now that that happened. Hopefully it was just a one time defective one.I can’t comment on how long the charge lasts as I haven’t had them long enough for the batteries to die yet in the two that do work. I will update when I know!

I bought this during prime and I really like it. Works well and much better than having to use disposable lighters. Charges really fast so that makes up for the short amount of time between charging. Bonus: as my youngest said when I showed them "Mom that's a freaking mini tazer!". Yes! They're right I resisted turning it on and touching it quickly for about a week and gave in, it kinda tingles and makes your finger numb, just telling so you don't have to try it yourself unless you want to. 😀
