Indepensible tire chuck.
When I apply this device to a valve stem. It stays on until I release it. Great!

Low Quality Chuck
I had 4 of these from a different manufacturer with a nickel plated outer slide. The ones I already had work phenomenally well and have been a game changer for my shop. I cannot find the same type for sale so I was hopeful that these were the same. Not so much.The tolerances on the actual chuck seem to be of lower quality. The slide and springs seem to have quite a bit of stiction and friction. The chuck does not go onto valve stems very easily and the release is not as predictable. Sometimes the release is a very energetic, spring-action release, most times, I have to physically pull the chuck off the valve stem. It also doesn't seal very well on the valve stem.Overall, I'm not super impressed and I am disappointed because I was hopeful this is the chuck that I was looking for. I cannot recommend purchasing this particular item.

So far so good
Works like a charm. I added a 4" nipple so I could have a firm handhold to push on to the valve stem.
