I bought this for my large dog to lie and sleep on while we are car camping or backpacking. It is going to be perfect - spacious and soft on the side she'll lie on, and water resistant for damp ground on the other side. It is easy to fold, roll up, and secure in the included sturdy carrying strap. I like that that strap is detachable - for backpacking, I will leave it behind to save weight. The blanket weighs 1 lb 9.5 ounces without the strap and 1 lb 11.6 ounces with the strap.

This is a great product, well made and cute - it can be a little tricky to fold back up tight enough for the holster, but that's just me being lazy and not wanting to unbuckle it.

This picnic blanket is well made and the leather straps help make this blanket look better priced than what you're paying for it. It's a good size and it's nice and soft for laying out in the park. The only downside for this blanket is that it gets too warm. If you have this blanket out on a summer day in 80°F/26°C (are there non-American's on here?) day it can definitely get too hot. We were using it on such an occasion one warmer day and opted to just lay on the grass instead. So if you're looking to sunbathe on this blanket, I'd say it's not the right choice for you. We use the outdoor mat at parks, beaches, and sometimes at home. It easily fits 4-6 people and makes for a fun picnic.

My niece received this gift in a Secret Santa game and the rest of the group was fighting to claim it. Beautifully made and loved the carry handle on it for travel purposes. Thinking of buying more for future gifts and one for myself.

Had an older version for many years. Bought 7 for grandkids, adult offspring & wife. Waterproof side to protect people & other stuff from sudden thunderstorm. Warmth if stranded in snow drift. Protects knees when changing a flat tire. Padding for fragile thrift store or yard sale find. So many uses that I won’t be without… and it’s also a picnic blanket.

What I love about this is that its very light, yet water resistant. It’s easy to clean and easy to carry! Perfect for picnics, beach day, the park.. etc!I make it a little extra comfy by adding a different picnic blanket (also water resistant) just so it doesn’t feel you’re directly on the floor lol
