Fantastic budget phone.
This is my second doogee phone and I'm very pleased so far. I only retired my doogee x7 6.1" screen because I dropped it and cracked the screen, otherwise it was a really good phone that served me well for two years. This time I went for the x70 5.5" screen. This site in your hand better, not so big, also the volume is much better which being a bit hard of hearing I really appreciate. I have downloaded all the apps I need on it and they work just fine. I have no issues at all with this phone or my last doogee phone. Really good price too at £53 for a brand new smartphone and being on a budget I appreciate that too. I'm a definite doogee convert and when it comes time to replace this phone I will be buying another doogee.

really slow even at the simplest of tasks
the phone was running really slowly. trying to move files from one folder to another was a joke. ended up thinking it was faulty so factory reset the phone and now it wont restart. cant do anything. simply put its broken. and sods law, the day i reset it ive looked at the returns and the window closed yesterday!! wouldnt recommend this phone unless its for a gift to someone you dont like.

A good phone in most respects but its video performance is completely unacceptable
When I recently took delivery of this Chinese Doogee X70 phone I was satisfied with its general features and performance and even posted a Five Star rating but it is the VIDEO performance which is the single-most important feature of a Smartphone I need and I regret to report that as much as I have repeatedly tried to convince myself that this Doogee X70's video performance is good enough, I have to face up to the fact that its video performance is NOT acceptable and must return it because I know that I will never be able to use the phone. The only reason I risked buying it was a positive response from an Amazon Community question I asked on its video performance.I need to repeat my comment in relation to two other Chinese phones I have bought from Amazon - it is better to save up some extra money and purchase a Samsung. The Samsung S9 I bought very recently from Amazon at about the same time as this Doogee X70 is absolutely superb in its video performance, as indeed are the couple of Samsung S3 Minis which I bought from Amazon.

Fast and easy to use with no bloat ware. Touch screen is fast and responsive, as is the fingerprint reaser. There are just enough apps pre installed to make the phone usable without bloating the memory. Setup is a breeze, just insert SIM and an sd card and close up. The supplied case can be a bit fiddly to fit but is secure. Once booted and setup it is a very nice phone and easy to use.
