ANDORRA Women's Performance Insulated Ski Jacket with Zip-Off Hood

When searching for a new winter coat, I was skeptical about shopping on-line due to size variations. I knew I wanted pockets for my iPhone and essentials. I also wanted a wind/water proof coat. Living in Montana you need a coat that is both wind/water proof as our temperatures can get down to -30 below zero. Now mind you, at -30 below zero I do not go out and play in it, but still need to run errands in town. I have owned Columbia coats as well as other popular brands. I was quite surprised at this coat. It's warm, comfortable, has a number of pockets, great for everyday wear and would be a great ski coat. This has to be one of the best winter coats I have ever owned!!! Also compared to popular named companies, you can't beat the price. Looking for a winter coat in town, the prices ranged from about $150- to $300-. The quality was not as good either. I intend on looking at their other products. Buy this coat you will not be disappointed.

After 4 years of looking at different coats, ordering and sending them back for one reason or another...poor quality, short sleeves, too bulky, not long enough, tacky logos, not as pictured...I fiiiiinally found it!!! I love this coat, it is exactly what I have been looking for!Note for reference re: the following feedback - I am a size 4...5'7", 130 lbs (evenly distributed :), with average torso length. I originally ordered a small, but the hips/upper butt region were just a bit snug, so I went with a medium and it fits perfectly with room for a sweatshirt/sweater!- High quality (especially at this price point - $99)!- The colors are just as pictured...vibrant and very sharp.- It only has 1 logo (stitched - not a patch) near the front left pocket (silver on this option/as pictured).- The sleeves come nearly to my knuckles, so when I move (drive, ski, etc.) they don't ride up and get uncomfortable and my gloves/mittens stay perfectly tucked inside. The thumb hole is a bit short, but I don't use those anyway...not needed.- The large sleeve openings make it really easy to put on with gloves/mittens and then you can adjust with strong Velcro to keep the wind out.- It's not too thick and could be worn with a lighter shirt in fall and even early spring to block the wind and rain!- Great features with a pocket on the left sleeve with plenty of room for cash, a credit card, ID or all three! There is one outer chest pocket on the left and 2 large pockets, one netted and the other zipped on the inside with even more room!- The length is perfect (nearly mid butt :) with a band around the bottom to keep the air out, with an added elastic band for additional cinching at the waist and the hood.- The hood is secured with a zipper, as well as strong Velcro to keep the flaps in place (neatly hidden in a pocket).- The exterior blocks the wind and keeps you nice and warm without making you sweat, but just in case, it has hidden armpit zippers to help with ventilation.All of the details really make this coat look and feel sooooo nice...I would absolutely recommend it!!!

I don't have much to add to the other 5-star reviews...I love everything about this jacket. I'm 5'4", have been blessed in the chest area, and wear often snow bibs. I got an XL and I have enough room for everything to fit in perfectly. I especially like the thumb hole in the inner sleeve. The thing that might bother some people is the collar...it's really tall (taller than any other ski coat I've owned, which I like because it really blocks the wind on my neck (I don't like hoods so I took it off). The collar can be folded down a bit, but some people really have an aversion to stuff around their neck/face. The only thing that I could have wished for is a D-ring sewn in somewhere for lift tags. I don't like putting them on zipper pulls...which is a first-world problem that really shouldn't influence a person's decision to buy a coat :)

Love this jacket. It's really warm & has all of the features I like. Especially the pit-zips, removable hood, & the little pocket on the sleeve is great to keep chapstick, cough drops, etc. handy, along with other small items if desired.All of the pockets are well placed & the material is very durable.I love the soft lining on the inside of the pockets & the high neck that you can zip up to cover part of your face.It's outstanding for downhill skiing & just an all around winter jacket.I'm 5' 3" & currently a size 8, 149 lbs., & ordered both a M & a L, as I wasn't sure which would fit the best.The M is a great fit & length for me as it's not too short.There is room for an extra layer if I wanted, but for skiing in temps above 0-degrees F., it would be too hot since the jacket is plenty warm on its own.One thing that would have been nice to have is a double zipper, so before I sit I could unzip from the bottom (I have a bit of a booty right now at my weight!), but it's fine without, as in my experience, double zips don't always hold up that well over time.I'm very pleased with the performance of this jacket!

I’ve spent far more (even on sale) on brand names winter jackets to have the proper gear for my outdoors fun. So excited to have found this Andorra jacket that checks off all of my criteria. Lightweight and super comfortable, I love the liner that fits snuggly around the hips and keep optimal warmth especially when out for snow playing. Ah and the hood fits nicely too, a nice feature to keep your ears warm and toasty. And when you do need some cooling down, unzip the underarm zippers. Lots of pockets in nooks to zip away safely your little gadgets and even some snacks on hiking trails. And last pro tip: get a size larger, so it’ll fit just right with some layering underneath.

Yes bought this winter coat/ jacket for my daughter and yes the hood does fit over a helmet. I chose a bigger/ loser size however in order to provide a more comfortable fit, for if one chose to wear layers of clothing like a hoodie, or additional winter wear.
