Edit: The second collar lasted 2 months with only being used for outdoors early mornings. I will not buy this again as they should last way longer. Great idea, but hopefully I will find a different manufacturer whose product will last beyond 4 months.Original: This worked on my dog that was the barker, I put the collar on and he does not even attempt to bark even when the squirrels show up. So 5-stars on that feature. Took 1 star off because it died after one month and I am now on to the second collar. My dog is smart enough to know if that collar is on, he does not bark. If it is not on, barking is allowed.I only use the collar when they go out - there is no need for it in the house, if they bark, they either cease on command or they go in their crates till they calm down. That has worked for indoor barking. My only need was to stop the male from barking at 6:00 am in the morning on the weekends when my neighbors with small children were desperately trying to sleep a bit more than work days. :o)I read a lot of comments about these going off when other dogs bark or loud noises, that happened a couple times when my granddaughter's shrieks set it off. That is what made me see this collar as a training tool only and not a 24/7 replacement for his regular collar.Whether or not i will buy this unit again depends on how long this 2nd collar lasts. One month is not acceptable when it is only used for outdoors.

We like these collars because they work. However, because there is no on/off switch, the batteries run down quickly. I have arthritis and it’s been a frustrating experience.

To be fair, this does help with my two pups incessant barking when they see a stranger, bug, squirrel, or my dad from a distance further than 12ft away. But there are some caveats.This collar has to be on very tightly to work appropriately, and the dogs hate this. It does not choke them at all thankfully but they hate it a lot. The part which picks up sound on the collar does slide off to the side a lot and that seems to make it not respond appropriately when they bark. (Design flaw?)It goes off whenever crows start screaming bloody murder, or when their cousin, same breed and age, lets out his bloody murder screams when he visits. This terrifies my poor pups and I cannot have them wear them while another animal is screaming in a high pitch.In fact, it does not always go off right away and misfires frequently. Downsides of it beeping instead of just vibrating is that my one dog has chosen violence and decided to bark at the beeps when upset. I’ve had to up the sensitivity and that helped but… It goes off when crows or a dog with a higher pitch bark barks at them.It makes me sad that it also goes off when my pups cry or growl while playing. They are allowed to express that they are sad, they are quiet about it and it lets me know politely that they need something such as to go to the bathroom. The growls are only ever when they play fight and I hate that this accidentally teaches them not to do a healthy behavior.These are my notes about this collar, it works but comes with downsides. It’s probably better to get one with a button to click if you’re around a lot like I am anyway. Just be patient and attentive, this is probably better for someone who leaves home often for work.Battery has not died yet, and I have not put it in water to test if it’d have any negative consequences. That’s for you and me both to find out unfortunately.

I did not have one bit of hope for these collars until I put them on.I have a 3 year old bishon and he would bark at everything it didn't matter if it was us or someone else he barked at every single noise and if he was gated up it was a non stop bark.These colors are a dogs life saver I swear. The only problem I had was my second dog is a lot smaller and these collars don't fit her.When you turn it on the light will turn green and on first bark it makes a buzz and he stops. Its unbelievable how fast they work. We have now had them 5 days and the difference in my dogs behavior is remarkable compared to how he was 5 days ago. There are probably better/other collars to buy but for the price it was unbeatable.

These kind of work….they work much better with one dog than the other. But if there’s something they wana bark at bad enough they will just ignore the vibrations. And they’re little dogs so you think they would care. Honestly this could just be my dogs and not the collar but still kept it at a 3 bc the collars were so long I had to cut them to fit my dog…wish they had size choices.

For starters I live out in the country and my dogs are prone to see all kinds of things. They have been trained to not to bark if I take out bark collars in the past. But my last ones broke and barking wasn't a issue anymore. Until it became overwhelming again, so I brought these hoping it would execute the same thing and sure enough it does. But reason I say all of this is, is my dogs (which are 3 small-medium dogs) don't have these on all day or even more than 4 hours. So in my situation if you're using them for smaller periods of times, the product looks promising.

If you're thinking about these bark control collars, don't hesitate.Bought this as a frazzled puppy owner, he would bark excessively at all hours while in his crate.Since wearing this collar I finally get a good night's sleep and aren't as stressed out listening to his loud barking constantly.

Mis vecinos me hicieron observaciones sobre los ladridos, así que estuve buscando opciones y encontré esta, lleva 2 días con el y ya se nota la diferencia, me gusta que son honestos en decir que es un collar entrenador y que puede que no sirva en todos los perros, en mi caso si funcionó, espero y como leí por ahí en otra reseña mi Husky aprenda y ya retirarselo, de momento estoy encantado con este producto, le pongo 4 estrellas en resistencia por que es de plástico el broche y se ve algo frágil, aunque no se ha roto, de ahí en fuera todo bien!

La calidad y precio es buena para el perro que si funciono pero para el otro me salio caro el que no lo detuviera de ladrar. Creo que es cada animal reacciona diferente y elnaparato es bueno se debe de intentar

Me han servido para bajar los ladridos de mis perros, sí los recomiendo.

My dogs (two lhasa apsos) are still barking a lot instead of wearing these collars. I am really puzzled and cannot justify the price I bought these with. I don’t know what to be done next!
