Call of Juarez / Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (Jewel Case)

The Bound in Blood game lacks the fun of UT2004 and DFX games. What detroyed that potential fun, is the extremely dumb, extremely difficult, quick draw, mandatory shoot outs to go to the next level. The quick draw scenes are almost impossible to beat, because it is extremely difficult to be fast and accurate with the Mouse. If getting stuck at that end of each level, trying over and over and over and over, etc. to go on to the next level, is your cup of TEA. If Not Go back to Unreal Tournament 2004, is still the best FPS game ever made. There are still LOTS of people hosting the game and lots of players on some sites, PLUS you can play Single Player Instant Action games on any downloaded maps, setting the skill levels of the AI's where you want. I warn you on UT2004 you do not want to set the skill level of the AI's on the highest setting unless you like losing. The UT2004 CTF and Bombing Run (a twist on Flagball) game types are EXTREMELY FUN.

Multiplayer, LAN hosted games are awesome! Deathmatch/Shootouts for everyone against everyone, or different team modes for Lawmen vs. Outlaws. Haven't tried online hosting yet, but locally on your own network is great when you have the Lawmen in one room and the Outlaws in another (men vs. women, one family vs. another, or one group vs. another). The playing field maps, the wild west weapons, the character selections, and multiplayer playing modes are fun and not over challenging. We play with up to 8 players at a time but the game can accommodate up to 16 players. Also, the background sounds and sound effects are best isolated and appreciated with headphones, but not necessary. Be prepared to be immersed!Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood has replaced 'Flatout' multiplayer racing as our favorite mature family competition game.The Call of Juarez requires the CD to be in the drive so it's recommended that you make a copy of it for game playing use (one for each player's computer).Bound in Blood does not require the CD to be in the drive.

This is not a game for shooting badguys. Its a game with constant boring time consuming challenges to waste your interest. I did not get past the first level. Too many breaks in the game to be fun. What a waste of what could have been a good game.

Both games loaded easily on windows7 x64 system.Call of Juarez plays good but gets boring at some points.Only able to play with mouse and keyboard.Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood is a great FPS and is configured for the XBox 360 controller.Buy them in this package and you won't be disappointed.

Fun, easy to use and great interface. Highly recommended for any western or FPS fans. Graphics show their age, but to be expected from the age of the game. Otherwise, it is worth the $!
