We need Jerry's Help
As always, Ester delivers quality reading material. Is it true? Well, that's up to you to discover, because Abraham will not demonstrate his existence. The reason? He doesn't want to make himself into some spectacle that people worship, but rather wants to encourage people to accept responsibility for their own lives. How many of you are like me, though? How many of you aren't looking to worhip Abraham, but rather you yearn to know the extent that you can trust these teachings in full. Practice you may say, and you will know. Well, I started with Seth and I have practiced on and off my entire life. There are still doubts, though, and doubts that could be wiped out in a second by seeing something amazing. We all know this is true. How many years of trying to get beyond our doubts could be avoided by simply seeing some little proof? Is seeing the proof a pitfall? Would people start worshipping Abraham? They already do, folks. Year after year, they stay addicted to the seminars, the books, the dvds, and the cds, continually seeking for peace and a perfect life. Every book states the same simple message, and basically repeats the same exercises, and yet people keep coming back as if they're going to hear something new, which will make all the difference. I'm sure some are helped, but many are already doing what Abraham doesn't want to encourage: relying on him instead of on themselves. Now, I ask you again. If someone told you that you were invincible, and demonstrated what a human being could do, would you worhip them or jump for joy? I know beyond doubt that this would serve me, and I therefore suspect, many others. I would know the full extent of what is possible. How could I ever look at life the same after seeing something miraculous? It's a no-brainer. This is obviously the fastest possibly way to achieving a change in a person's world view...if the teacher is, in fact, really interested in doing that.Ok, are there valid reasons not to trust Abraham? Contradictions, perhaps? Sure, and they bug the hell out of me. Seth, for example, said that it is impossible to re-grow a limb. Abraham says it's not. Abraham says that if you stay happy in the Vortex, that all of the good stuff you've dreamed of is on the way. Well, I've read enlightened master after enlightened master...people who claim to live in bliss...and yet they die of the same horrible diseases as everyone else. Also, I believe that it was in this book that Abraham responded to a questioner who was told that sex can drain life energy. Abraham told the woman that only imbalanced thoughts could do that. But listen...people from all over the world in many centuries have mapped out the ways in which energy travels in the body, and they say that sex breaks the circuit of vital energy in the body when a man has an orgasm (I don't know about a woman). Instead of traveling in a circle...down the front of the body and up the back of the body...the energy shoots out of the penis with orgasm, breaking the circuit of vitality. This is why a man feels drained even if he was not really exerting himself during sex. So, the world literature, written by people who can see this energy, says that Abraham is wrong. But most men don't need to believe the world literature. They know from personal experience. Also, I was listening to Abraham talk about the movie, The Secret, on YouTube, and he said that what the producer (Rhonda) did to Ester and Jerry "wasn't very nice". Well, according to the teaching, Ester and Jerry created that event, and so Rhonda didn't do anything to them. The whole speech sounded more like Ester working off her hurt feelings over the event, rather than some awakened being lovingly commenting on why he was excluded from some versions of the film.I'm just tired of all this. I was into Seth for years, like Jerry and Ester, and then, years after Jane Roberts died, I read The Way Toward Health. In this last book, Seth tells Jane (who was in the hospital) that she was going to recover enough to go home, and a few days later she died. How many people hung on Seth's every word as gospel? Did you? Do you likewise hang on every word of Abraham as true, simply because you've seen a few coincidences in your own life?I agree that it seems evident that thought can influence matter to some extent. I've had some success with this, as I imagine you have had, but it's tough to change your world view completely. Anyway, these ideas are not new, and just because someone comes along and states them in a new form, doesn't mean that the entire teaching is valid. Who knows what Ester's subconscious is capable of, and assuming Abraham is real, how pure her translation is? Seth gave faulty information, and as already stated, Abraham sometimes contradicts things that Seth said, not to mention the enlightened wisdom teachings of many cultures.Let me close by saying that I think that channelers should be willing to put their spirits to the test more than they do. I think that they owe that to the public. Anyone who has ever witnessed the "speaking in tongues" that goes on in fundamentalist Christianity, knows how quickly odd phenomena can spread when people believe they can do it. First one person does it, then another, and then another, and so on. In the same light, many channelers may simply be making stuff up and believing that the information was "sent". It's amazing how much faith people put in Seth when Jane Roberts, herself, was filled with doubts for such a long time.Anyway, this is not to imply that I think that Jerry and Ester are intentionally deceiving people. They seem very nice, as did Jane and Rob. Jerry, especially, is such a warm, sincere, likeable person, and his integrity is beyond obvious... I just wish that he would put Abraham to the test. There are contradictions here, Jerry, if you're reading this. If Abraham is really with you guys, really present, really aware of your thoughts, haven't you ever been interested in testing that? Even if you believe in Abraham completely, testing Ester's accuracy in translating seems like a logical step. Think of some numbers. Think of some thoughts. See if Abraham can tell what they are. If he can't, or only gets some of them right, that says something valuable, right? It let's you know about the accuracy of Ester's translation. If he fails completely, that also says something. You could get creative. Ask about a recent past life of yours. Check it out. Did the person live where Abraham said? Were all the details right on the money? Not only would this be fun for you, but I believe that it could really help to validate the teaching in the minds of many people. This could lead to a greater trust in their own power and being, and help to dissolve many of the doubts that have been holding them back. The reason this is so, I've already stated...you are genuine to the core, Jerry, and people can see that, and they need someone other than Ester to verify this work for obvious scientific reasons. You could email me if you ever do any testing at [...]. In any case, thanks for your ongoing commitment to this work.Well, ok, I've said my piece I guess. Let me close, though, by once again praising the quality of this material. The books are always enjoyable. Abraham's comment here about sex not being able to deplete a person's energy, however, really thru me for a loop. As I said, this contradicts the teachings of enlightened beings for centuries. You'll have to draw your own conclusions.

The Law of Attraction
This 2009, 238-page book is more of the Teachings of Abraham and part of the Law of Attraction series by the authors. Although it is quite repetitive, it really does provide very good information. As one might suspect, it is about the Law of Attraction, which basically states that what you put out there is what you get back. The book explains that by providing many Q & As, in which Jerry asks questions of Abraham (a certain collective consciousness group of entities that he and Esther channel information from). Abraham channels the answers. This book is actually about relationships. Beyond the concepts of couples, the term relationships is directed toward any one you may have a relationship with, such as a spouse, significant other, friend, boss, relative, hairdresser, etc.The first section of the book delves into some flaws in beliefs that many people experience, such as "If I push hard enough against unwanted things, they will go away." The book then explains why this is faulted thinking and how to properly align your thinking to achieve the results you truly want. The book then attempts to answer the normal questions that most people would have where they experience discord with a relationship, or have not found an agreeable relationship, or are looking for something better. Some of the many questions addressed ask about attracting a mate, a soul-mate, why people may choose a mate that is not in alignment with them, relationships between parents and children, relationships between employees and the boss, etc.I think it is probably a no-brainer that you have to fix yourself first, before you can be happy with someone else, but there are people who find it hard to admit there may be something wrong with their attitude. One of the major concepts this book will try to explain to you is that you must be happy from the inside out and that you cannot be dependent on someone or something else to make you happy. That is short-lived (temporary) happiness and not lasting happiness. The Law of Attraction is used to explain the concept. In case anyone reading this review is unfamiliar with the Universal Law of Attraction, again, it is that you attract the vibrations you put out. Foe example, if you are insecure and believe you are unworthy of love, you will attract people to you who are the same as you. So, if you are looking for someone who can fill the void within you, it ain't gonna happen. If somehow it does, it ain't gonna last. That's the bottom line. If your glass has a hole in the bottom, it is gonna leak, no matter how much juice you put into it. Eventually, the glass will weaken from the stress and crack, and then shatter. It might even cut you pretty badly in the process.Honestly, I don't think there is anything in this book that I read that I didn't agree with. It's all true and we probably all need to be reminded periodically, so we don't slip backwards. It is so easy to lose our footing and forget who we really are amidst the anger and tension around us. It is so important to be secure within ourselves, to realize we are a piece of the Divine, when others try to force us into negativity, so that we may stand strong in our own convictions and stay in the Light. This is the way forward, out of the fog and into the Light.Although the book is repetitive, for some it must be so. The bottom line is that the information within it is invaluable.Namaste'

Encounters of a Non-Human Kind!
The 'Vortex' by author Esther Hicks, based on the Abraham teachings, offers the reader interesting ways to deal with life and its dramas. The knowledge and wisdom is understood to be brought forth from non-physical entities channelled through Esther Hicks. The book has extensive coverage of human relationships and why they go wrong for many people. There are offered 22 'Flawed Ideas' about what we believe to be true in life, which then sets the tone of bringing uncomfortable experiences to us - due to errors in our original thinking. The Abraham teachings identify an energy Vortex that seemingly exists above us and is part of us and is the holder of all our co-operative components that make up our desires since birth. It is said that we only have to enter this Vortex by aligning our core vibration frequency with that of our desire to experience it in our life. I understand that this is true but is not as simple as it is made out to be due to our current evolutionary physical form and our ego-mind that tends to dominate mankind's conscious thinking patterns. We tend to fleet from one thought to another, being unable to focus our thoughts long enough to allow a desired thought to expand into something useful. The book coverage - in the main - tends to deal with relationships. I understand it is important to cover such topics, but was not my cup of tea! I would have liked to have read more on specifically how one can create and manifest desires using this Vortex. Yes, i understand it is about feeling good and going in search of bliss, but please offer us a clear demonstrable process to deliver results to our avid readers. In my opinion, relationships 'fall apart' because we are trying to find fulfillment rather than create fulfillment using our higher Self as the base catalyst in this process. Same thing can be said about life! Outside of your self you cannot find that which you seek and hold onto it - it is but a short term illusion. You must create the loving relationship with your higher Self (soul) first of all and then you will receive lasting harmony, peace, love, joy and abundance.A good book to purchase on Amazon that will make you think about you and your life as it presently unfolds. Remember these four little words that have awesome proportions: 'We Are All One!'Denis J (Author of the '3-3-3' Enigma - An Invitation to Consciously Create Your Reality)

Perfectly logical and enlightening book for those who are open enough to accept it.
This is an amazing book you do not need to be spiritual or religious, to get value from the words within this book. Much of it is written in Q &A form. It is laid out simply and at times is repetitive, because it is after all a study, and study requires repetition. Anyone getting angry or any other negative feelings from this script, is obviously not ready for the lessons and valuable information/education within it. I would recommend that these people put the book on a shelf, and when they are ready it will once more be brought to their attention. Happy reading...happy life.

Kindle edition is missing several pages.
The 3 Stars awarded to this book are not a reflection of the content, which is very interesting and a great guide to personal expansion but reflects the fact that there are several pages missing from the Kindle edition. Two that I can pinpoint easily are the end of Part II and one page in the list of Flawed Premises at the end of the book. The content of the book merits 5 stars and if read and understood by more people would certainly make a difference to world peace. However the focus of the information is to teach individuals how to live a joyful life in spite of others' negativity. It's not easy to do but it is possible and with practice it does get easier.

You've got to read the book and give it time.
I have had this book and CD for a while now (over a year). When I first bought it I didn't bother reading the book, I just assumed it was a repeat of what was said on the CD. I listened to the CD as instructed, in the order laid out and then listened to the parts I was inspired to. In the beginning, I worried about "getting it right" and couldn't quite relax in the 15 minutes given. After a while I found getting my breath in sync with the music of the CD becomes easier with each listening.I think I did this for maybe a month and a half and then stopped. I became impatient and felt that "nothing (significant like cash coming) was happening". I did feel good and I felt that I was more energized and required less sleep.I have since gone back to the book - reading the passages during my free time and then using the CD during meditation. I feel that I understand it more; I'm not so impatient, and eager to just see results. Now my focus is on just feeling good/ feeling relief - and knowing that feeling good is the work of this CD - nothing more (feeling good is really important). My willingness to let go of "what will this get me right now" and just "going with the flow". I believe that you have to stick with this for a while with that sort of mindset - give up the expectations of what you "need" from this and just enjoy it. If you can't sync your breath with the music - don't worry about it too much - sometimes I just breathe to my own rhythm and I still feel benefit after the meditation session. I sometimes require more than 15 minutes to get to a state of relaxation. I may listen to "all four parts" before I feel relaxed, so don't worry about "doing it right" either. I think the most important thing is not to be too rigid with this. If you are new to Abraham and Esther Hicks material, I wouldn't recommend listening to this right away. First get a grounding in the earlier work, or maybe watch "the secret" and take it from there. If you are struggling with the idea that "doing less yields more" then definitely do not bother with this CD. You will simply be frustrated and exclaim "that was a waste of time".

Wonderful!
As expected from Abraham, it is a wonderful book particularly well targeted if you have had some relationship issues and want to avoid getting back into more of the same! The book helps you find a new way to approach relationship in a way that is in harmony with who you are and ease the fears about anything relating to it. I would recommend this book to anyone who is awake and ready the allow for manifestation of the greatest things in your life!
