We have purchased several of these garden hoses over the years and even the oldest one is still in perfect condition. Very durable, flexible even on cool weather. No sign of wear even after a lot of use.

Works great, had it a couple months no kinks well made

I've always liked the Flexogen hoses but on this one there's a flaw at least it's a flaw for me. The hose is light has proven to be durable and unfussy. It's being used to water raised beds so it's always being pulled around wooden edges and is usually put away by dropping it wherever. So far no leaks or permanent kinks. So what's the flaw? Glad you asked. No line of printing or tracer line so you can see where and how much twist is in the hose. Twist leads to kinks and the more twist, the more it likes to kink so it's nice to every now and then be able to straighten out the twist along the length.

As advertised, this is a fantastic, durable garden hose that resists kinking, stays pliable, and always remains easy to return to a coil. The build quality is outstanding, and I've already gotten several years of use out of it. The threaded fittings are heavy duty (by garden hose standards, anyway), and the material that the hose itself is constructed from is very tough. I wasn't thrilled with the color at first, as it's a bit different from the usual, but it quickly grew on me. With the trouble-free service this hose has given me, the thing could be florescent orange, and I would still use it!When you consider the price I paid for this hose (just over $25 with free shipping), this is easily a five star product. I've probably bought a half dozen junk hoses that lasted a year or two. Not only were they a waste of money, but they were incredibly difficult to use (constantly kinking, leaking from fittings, etc.), compared to this one. This is a no-brainer purchase for any home owner... you might pay a small amount more, but the returns are enormous.

These are the best hoses on the market. Brass ends, light weight, long lasting. Flexogen also coils up extremely easily, and last for many years. Just try to find a hose in a big box store with brass ends. It is rare.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought two of these hoses less than a year ago. The hoses are hooked up in tandem and held together well until about months ago. On one of the hoses near the male end started to be bubbling in the hose itself and then about a month ago the hose started leaking between the compression part and the male threads. Again this happened on only one of the hoses leaving me to believe the compression fitting was install improperly. I went back and looked at my order and the literature states LIFE TIME WARRANTY. Photo is attached. I have rated it 1 STAR since it the compression fitting had failed. If the company or Amazon chooses to replace the hose I will re-rate the product.Bob

Plenty of water flow and it doesn't kink easily. The best hose I've owned...ever.

It is very rare that I write reviews but I decided to write a review for this Gilmour 8-Ply Flexogen Hose because I had purchased other very good name brand hoses from a Very Big Box Store and within days I had to return them as they leaked or bursted out - a total of three (3) hoses in less than two weeks time. One of them bursted open in few hours of use. Anyway out of frustration I decided to a little bit of my own research and found that the hoses that are rated for 500 psi and made of good quality materials are better and I also read the entire detailed description of Gilmour Flexogen 8-Ply hose and got convinced. I must say that in the past I have found Gilmour brand products to be superior quality. I have been using Gilmour Flexogen hose (in beautiful grey color) for about a month and NOT one drop of water leaks anywhere. EXCELLENT PRODUCT. I wish I has a dollar for every time I've bought 'the last hose you will ever need'. This Is the only brand/model I buy now. It is reasonably flexible, doesn't kink easily, doesn't weigh a ton, is strong, has very good fittings, and is fairly priced. The best all around choice I know of. And it's made in the USA (I think). But beware. There are others out there who use a deceptively similar name, and they're crap. This one is Gilmour, Flexogen, 8-ply. Remember that!

Does a good job. Have had it outside for a couple winters and it's still in good shape.

Overall it's pretty good. Left it outside during this summer with multiple days of heat advisory and is holding up. Only con is that it is somewhat heavy and dragging it can be a small chore because it's not as flexible. But hopefully this means it'll last a longer time. Will update if anything goes wrong.

I really like this hose. Bought another one at Home Hardware 50% off sale.I usually have bad luck with hoses, but this one is great for not tangling, easy to roll up. The "no agro" is worth it in itself.Can you believe people are still buying the "self expanding and contracting" hoses? They should be called Self Exploding Hoses. Ha!

Best hose ever! Bought one last year for my backyard so I give this another go for my garage and quality is just as high and I simply love it.
