I did not open this before I gave it to my daughter. As soon as she woke up on her birthday I made her open it and wear it all day long. This is totally not her, however she said she actually felt special all day wearing it, even on a hike on the Appalachian Trail! The tiara was metal with sparkly crystals in it. It stayed in place nicely and was not flimsy. I thought for the price it was going to be plastic. I was pleasantly surprised. The sash is a soft pink with gold lettering. It is made to be adjustable for size fit with a cute, but sturdy stick pin. The sash is very durable. I stuck it a few times in different places with the pin, and it also got soaking wet when it fell in a puddle of water. It dried quickly and nicely. Just bought another for my daughter to give her friend as a gift. Can’t go wrong for the price.

This comes box really beautifully and a white box with a birthday sticker and some shredded paper and a nice sweet 16 card inside. Really happy with the quality. Hadn’t read the description so I didn’t realize it was an actual metal crown of very nice quality.
