Colors just enough to look my age!
So I have reached that point where my hair is completely grey. I colored it during my working years, but now I don't need to anymore. However, I really don't like the look of my grey, so this helps me with my transition!

It works, for about 2 weeks, but still, it's pretty good for what it is
I did my research before buying this product, and it's surprising there just aren't that many reviews of this stuff outside of Amazon. And here so many of the reviews are so happy and excited that I have to admit I was skeptical. This review won't be happy and excited, but I will say the product is pretty good.I have dark brown hair, with a decent amount of gray throughout, but still more brown than grey. So I bought the medium gray, since folks said to go at least a shade lighter. The first time I used it I put a decent amount on my hair, and ended up massaging it around with my hands-in-glove because the product applicator comb didn't seem to work so well with short hair. My hands worked fine. Oh, and yes, I put on a thick skin lotion around the perimeter of my hairline and it seemed to work, no spots on my face or neck. I was so slow in applying it that it clearly took more than 5 minutes. Still, when I finished and washed it out, and it dried, it was clear the gray was pretty much gone, and now turned a shade of lighter brown if you inspected it closely. I thought it looked good. And it certainly did not turn all my hair dark brown. But within a week I was noticing the gray hairs a lot more, even though they were still light brown, and by two weeks it seemed gray again. Hardly the 4-6 weeks people talk about. So the next time I tried it I applied more of the coloring than I did the first time. This time, I went even more slowly so the stuff stayed on a good long time. I think that this time the gray was darker than the first time. Keep in mind, while I have a lot of gray if you look up close, my dark hair still outnumbers my gray by a lot. So I can't say how shocking the difference would be for someone with more gray than dark. For me, the dye worked but was not a shocking difference, it wasn't too much. This time it lasted a good 2 weeks, and now when I look in the mirror the gray seems to be a very light brown, almost like highlights when looking close up. But you can see it, a lot of it, and I suspect in a few days it will start really looking gray again. Also, keep in mind that I've been washing my hair every other day to try to protect the color. And it still is noticeably gone in 2 weeks. Now, years ago I had asked my hair cutter how much it cost etc to try to get rid of the gray. She told me something like $60 a session, instead of the $20 I pay for a cut, and that I'd have to get it done every 6 weeks, because your hair grows and th new gray would show. So with this stuff I need to do it every 2 to 3 weeks instead of every 6. And I'm paying a lot less. Not a bad deal.Next time I'm going to use the dark brown version and see if that makes any difference in terms of the look, but also in terms of how long it takes before I notice a lot of the gray being a light brown and noticeable. What I did not find was that this darkened my hair too much. No way. And I left it on long past 5 minutes. But I have very dark brown hair, and more brown than gray. Maybe for others it would be a stark difference if they had a lot more gray. And even when I put a LOT on my hair the second time around, I still had a lot left in the tube - people are right, use it carefully and you'll easily get 3 uses out of one bottle with short guy's hair.I'll update this review after I try the darker color in the next week or so.

I tried the Just For Men light Brown and was truly amazed at how it took the edge off my gray ...
Just one yard ago I started using Just for Men touch of gray T-35 at age 54, now 55For me this product and color has worked magic, Naturally over the past 5 years my hair had faded quickly then the last year the gray really started to dominate my look. It was a photo taken in bright sunshine that made me truly quiver, as I take pride in my physical health and I looked 10 years older than my physical statue do to my natural light brown turning gray. So I did want I never thought I would, I tried the Just For Men light Brown and was truly amazed at how it took the edge off my gray and returned me to a look I that is truly hadn't seen for years.I would also like to offer some suggestions to any whom possibly want, what I wanted, and that was the edge being removed off the gray and a clean natural look to return.I believe that hair type plays a role in a persons success, I have a light soft hair and as I went from dark brown in my 30's to a lighter brown in my 40's and watched the Gray dominate in my 50's. I believe it was important to select the correct product and color and I got lucky as the T-35 was perfect for my objective. Other things to also be aware of the frequency of application has been by weekly, the same as my cuts. The same day that I Cut, I Color! I have found that I use a rubber glove and massage it in, I do not use the comb that comes with kit. I also get 3 application per tube, note you have to get excess air out for proper storage of the remaining in the tube. I have also found that the applications work better with these tricks 1) I do not shampoo after the application once finished just rinse until the next morning i have found that the color continues to set over night. 2) I place a plastic grocery bag over my hair during the set time of the treatment that keeps it form drying out during the application. 3) I leave on for 20 min they suggest 10 to 15 I push the envelop a bit on that.I don't often write reviews, but my experience has been just very enjoyable, as not one person has offered an OMG your coloring! I'm sure that someone has noticed however the lady that I'm dating did not, I showed her the photo out in the bright sunlight and then she looked at me and went Wow.... good job!My success may not be yours but I've enjoyed this soft change in my look so much I wanted to offer my experience to those whom mightjust be considering too.

Not good results
I applied following instructions but got poor results. I have used this product from other sources with excellent results. Are this products old? Fakes?

Changed applicators
I’ve used the light brown product for many years. Works great, easy to apply. Generally I would highly recommend it. One recent problem. The box pictures a large black applicator comb, which is what is needed to comb through the hair on your head. But the most recent order I received instead has a small grey comb. Looks like the one for the beard coloring product. It’s not remotely adequate to use to color your hair. I kept the one from my previous order to use for now, and have contacted Combe about this. I am hoping this was just a temporary supply issue for them. But if they decided to supply these tiny little combs going forward be warned. You may need to apply by hand and comb through with an old fashioned pocket comb instead.

Very Satisfied
Wife was complaining about my "yellow" hair. I'm 73 and spend lots of time outdoors so I figured my hair was being sun-affected to become yellowish, so I used this hair colorant. Now my hair is no longer an ugly yellow, sort of a light brown. Much better.
