This allows me to recycle cans effectively and efficiently and is very convenient next to my desk in the office. Very sturdy thick plastic construction, and the mechanism to crush cans is simple and effective. Going strong so far, will update if I encounter issues. A bit pricier that I was looking for, but that extra cost appears to provide some ruggedization.

This works incredibly well for us. Less space is taken up by multiple bags & bins for our cans to recycle. Easy to use. Kids want to crush the cans, holds so much more.

We have one of these at work, and I liked it so much, I bought one for our home! It works like a champ. Some people are complaining that it crushes the cans the long way, instead of the short way, but who really cares? They are still crushed and still take up a lot less space than uncrushed cans would.One thing I had to fix though- the slot where the cans slide into the storage compartment of the unit has a lip on it that likes to catch the cans, which causes the cans to stay there on the top of the unit, instead of sliding into the storage compartment. I cut that off with my Dremel, and it works fine now.The only thing I would change is to give it a bigger storage area. Or make the top capable of setting on top of a standard, round garbage can.

This is incredibly sturdy, and still looks brand new despite crunching through ~20 cans a day for the last three years. I cannot recommend this highly enough; despite the high cost it is absolutely the best can crusher I have ever used.

This is a vast improvement over our old wall-mount crusher. It's self-contained, doesn't splatter liquid, is easy to use once you figure out pivot points, and works like a champ. Once you understand the can MUST go into the groove, you keep your hand centered on the handle, and how much pressure it takes, it works like a breeze! With the old wall mount it was easy to just slam the things through, but that damaged the wall, sent liquid flying, was a mess, etc. This is more intentional. Gentle won't do it because you need force to pivot the handle, but too much force will send the can flying, not completely crushed. Like many things in life, you figure out what works for you, and go with that. Remember that when it's empty, you're applying force to the top of an empty container, so until it gets some ballast in it, you'll likely need to hold it or even brace it a bit with your leg. I'm a woman in her 60s without huge upper body strength, but have no trouble operating it successfully. This thing has been a God-send for us, and I would highly recommend it and purchase it again if some reason this ever wore out, which is difficult to imagine.

It those the job, but it wobbles a lot while smashing the cans. The bottom part is very poor constructed could be more sturdy instead of using a vey thin plastic. Also it should not be call Commercial the name is very miss leading I though it was going to be made of a heavy plastic. Very disappointed. If I had a chance again I would not purchase it at all. Don't waste your Money. I wrote this comment back in January of this year 2016.I had this product for 9 months and to tell you the truth is not worth what I paid for it stop working 5 months ago. I am very sad and unhappy I wish I could called the company and really tell them what I think about this product, which is not worth what I paid for. Too bad that amazon is unable to do nothing for the customer after 30 days. I really wish amazon could do something for products that really failed based on the false advertisement!Do not recommend to purchase this product! Save your money don't buy it.!

I bought this for my sisters family. They go through a lot of cans and just had their first child. This turned out to be the perfect Christmas present! I didn't know what to expect so it was a little underwhelming when we opened it (for me). They were very pleased when they opened it tho. My Brother-in-law has never really been one for presents but was genuinely excited and grateful for this one. They use it everyday and it has cut back on the clutter of cans building up and and eliminated the chore of crushing them later on

If you can't mount a can crusher to the wall, this is a great alternative. I just ordered a second one so we have one on each floor. Holds a ton of crushed cans that we take to Lions Club for them to cash in for their programs. Some cans will crush flatter than others, but you will quickly figure out the best way to crush the different types. It is large, so you will need to make sure you have enough space to place it so you can maneuver the crusher handle. Highly recommend.
