Q: Does it works on guitar too or only on bass?

It would work, I suppose, but it's voiced for bass in terms of the frequencies it's boosting or cutting. Check their website, I would imagine they have a guitar preamp available.

no no blend or volume pot, just the eq pots

Q: So this comes with individual treble, mid and bass pots. Can I add my own blend, volume and mid DPDT switch when wiring up?

Sure you can. I use my bass with 1tone, 1volume, 1blend and obp-3 preamp. you can find the wiring diagram through the aguilar homepage.

Q: Please help I just received my pre-amp and will do installation myself. My pre-amp did not have a battery connection with it?

Mine did not come with one either, but they're not hard to find. Search up 9v battery connectors on amazon. Also double check that you have the correct potentiometers for volume and tone controls. They supplied the tone pots with mine, but not the volume or blend knob. Again, not hard to find, but double check to make sure you have the correct specs they ask for in the schematic.
