Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Digital Wireless Hygrometer Weather Station Wireless Temperature and Humidity Monitor with Current Time Backlight and Outdoor Sensor

I had the same Oregon Scientific weather station for years before it started failing. I was going to replace with the same brand, but saw this one. I liked the look of it and loved the price point. I've had it for almost two weeks now and it's working great. Temps seem accurate and I like that you can hit a button on top for a backlight. Great purchase as far as I can tell.

I loved this thermometer as I can check on the outside temperature which is more accurate than my phone. I can also check humidity and it gives me all the information I need to know. The quality is ok.

Really like this indoor / outdoor thermometer, the display is really nice and clear and easy to use. Set-up took less than a minute and the outdoor sensor even has a small display on it itself.Great value and nice quality.

Got this on a timely basis and it was easy to set up. The operation manual is a little hard to understand with regards to that confusing table on page 3 (I think that's the page). My other wish is that it had a little remote. The screen has very nice large icons however it would be nice to be able to sit on the couch and hit a remote to make the light come on so you can see it across the room. Yes, I'm lazy. That said, when I need to use the light I wish it would stay on longer than 5 seconds. I give 5 stars because it most certainly does exactly what it advertised. My comments are just wishes! Great product!

After receiving my weather station, I was impressed enough to order two remotes; so I now have #1 on my front porch, #2 in my garage, and #3 in my unattached workshop. My only negative comment and the reason I gave it a 4.5 rating is that the backlighting is only on for a short amount of time, not long enough to be able to read all three outside temperatures without needing to repeatedly press the backlight button.I did learn quickly that the sensor has to be put in a location away from doors and walls getting direct sunlight, because it gives a slewed reading.

I originally loved it because of It's reasonable price, easy intuitive set up and well written instructions. (The mounting hole in the receiver defies finding a screw head that will allow wall mounting. An appropriate mounting screw should have been supplied. I finally carved out the hole margins with a pen knife to accommodate a screw head, but it's not too secure so I added Velcro to secure it.) Readings appeared reasonably accurate but after 3 weeks it lost its registration with the outdoor unit and would not recognize the outdoor unit on any channel. I measured the battery voltage. The two batteries in the outdoor sender 1.53V (1.59V when installed) and it was accurately reading the temperature. The indoor units three batteries had dropped to 1.42V each after. three weeks. Fresh batteries were installed in both units but it still would not read the outdoor sensor. Amazon replaced the item that installed just as easily as the first. This one stopped working a bit less than 12 weeks after installation. But this time, the batteries in the receiver 3 AAA batteries were exhausted measuring 1.12V each. Once replaced, and the time reset, it was working just fine. It looks like it will cost about $5-6/ year to keep it in batteries, making this not so reasonably priced after all.

I use this thermometer to monitor my laundry room. Because there is no heat in my laundry room and I have to keep it above 35 F to avoid pipe frozen. I have a heater that I can turn on/off remotely. Last week we had the coldest day in this winter. sub-zero during the night out there. Thank god I got this outdoor monitor so I don't have to worry if the temperature is too low. I can turn the heater on anytime when the screen tells me its below 35 in the laundry room. Perfect fit my need!

We love the thermometer and easy setup,no wire need , we like it
