Perfect Base Unit for Poltergust Prop!
I used this toy vacuum to make a Poltergust 5000 for my Luigi's Mansion costume for DragonCon this year. It was the absolute perfect size and shape. The hose was a little short (I'm a 5'8" adult-which this product is very much not aimed at) so I had to buy a longer one from Lowes-but the one that came with would be the perfect size for a child. I did not put batteries into it to test out the sound. The vacuum is sturdy and surprisingly light. It even has spots on the underside that are good for clipping straps on (I used some small keyrings and some thin black shoulder bag straps)-so I was able to wear it on my back like Luigi without having to drill any holes into it! For my needs-this toy was absolute perfection!
