Expensive but does the trick, have three cats and a bear of a dog, can't tell by the smell of it though, this sucker works like a champ!

Purchase two air replacement units to filter the dust and germs out of the air, for our son who will need it as he moves in from the hospital after receiving a stem cell transplant soon. This cleans the air to keep dirt and germs out of his lungs. And it has also helped as a deterrent for the allergies in my head! Now whole house will have "clean air". The filter on the first unit was just replaced today, just before son comes home from hospital.

These replacement filters do the job! The filter is easily replaced and anyone can handle the job. I find that the "name brand" use is appropriate in this case for the machine I use. They work way better than generic at cleaning the air quality of my home. Tackles cooking smokiness and odors quickly and completely. I have COPD and the system has helped cut down on flare ups. I highly recommend.

It is durable, ease of use, doesn't make noise

I struggle a bit with the price. But have yet to find off brands that fit well. This is one purchase that you have to buy name brand. But they fit great, last a while and keep the air quality good. Just wish they were a tad cheaper with having to buy multiple times.

Okay, okay, okay. I know that 70 dollars for a filter replacement is a lot of money. Our old filter became unusable unfortunately when some shrimp chips were dropped into the fan part. Luckily I removed the filter and the fan was pumping out fresh smelling air. I tried to salvage the filter since it wasn’t very old but had no success. The fan was still in perfect shape and usable though so that was the good part.Be prepared to receive a package that is just the filter box. It is well packaged, with foam and a sealed bag inside, so it will be pristine when you get it as long as the package isn’t destroyed. Unfortunately our first one was due to the shipper. Amazon was great though and replaced it quickly, and this time, the box looked immaculate.Opened it, put it in, and it was perfect. Fresh smelling air, no stale sent, definitely no shrimp chip smell, and I am happy to have spent the 70 dollars on it. The purifier itself is great, having had it for about a year now, and the replacement lives up to our expectations since we have 4 various Levoit air purifiers and have come to expect quality from them. I’ve never been let down by them. Thank you Levoit!
