PS4 USB Hub 5 Ports 3.0 High Speed Portable Adapter Controller Splitter Expansion for Playstation 4 Console, Not for PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro

Purchased this so I could connect a fan due to cooking my external hard drive.I was going to send it back at first because I couldn't get it to connect. I didn't realize that you need to give it a little muscle and push until it clicks in place.Now I power the fan, my two controler charging station, and a new external hard drive. And I have two ports to spare.I've been using it for a couple months now and I'm not having any issues.

Burn my USB port out on my PlayStation now my USB port does not work so I have to switch back and forth from my headset that it has a Bluetooth dongle in order to charge my controller the splitter is trash

The only issues I had was this was not designed for use with the PS4 Pro unit.... I had to make some changes but still a nice hub.

This product will not stay connected, my usb accessories keep disconnecting on its own.

I bought this so I could add a couple of usb ports to play FFXIV with mouse and keyboard and have my external hard drive plugged in. It worked and recognized them all, but the keyboard and mouse were so laggy it was unplayable.Its fine if you just remeber that you can only send so much data through this to the USB ports at one time.

doesn’t work for ps4 if you’re trying to use it to connect you’re extended storage to it

Do not buy this. I bought this and it made my ps4 controller start lagging. So I bought two brand new controllers and it did the samething! I unhooked it and everything started working fine again! DO NOT BUY!!!

It's loose. Like it wiggles around while in place. It's not nicely fit in place. It's been like that since we bought it.

It looks good. That's about it. Once connected to the PS4, none of the USB ports on the front of this unit work. External HD? Nope. Controller? You wish. This thing is pointless. Trust these negative reviews. It does not work. Period. Returning mine for a refund now.

Product works fine but there is a major issue with it when I had it connected to my system. The hub some how makes the wireless connection between the sys and controller not work as it should and basically acts as a signal jammer making controller have input lag, disconnect randomly and stop responding.But overall the product works to the extent of adding more ports for a mouse and keyboard or a ext hdd which btw work fine.

Let me say I am not attacking the product itself. For a lot of people this may be the solution.This adapter fit well into the Playstation and looks good. Almost seamless integration with the console.However, I purchased this so I could have free ports while having an external harddrive and headset dongle plugged in. The dongle works fine in any port, however the external harddrive (it is USB 3.0 -- not sure if this matters) did not work when plugged into the regular USB ports. It powered the harddrive, but was not detected by the Playstation.Plugging it into the USB 3.0 port did work. I was able to use it without issue to download and play games. Unfortunately, there is this weird situation where USB 3.0 interferes with Bluetooth connections. It made my Dualshock 4 controllers uselss. They would lag, stutter, and disconnect constantly.As I said this isn't attacking the product. It is Playstation that messed up by including only 2 USB ports and 500GB of internal storage. I just want to warn others before purchasing this product that you will encounter issues if your intent is to use the USB 3.0 slot with Bluetooth devices.I have since plugged the harddrive directly into the Playstation without issue. The drive and controllers are working fine.

Not performing to expectations. I plugged my 1tb SSD into the 3.0 port and within 48hrs my PS was detecting a faulty drive. Plugged the external drive back into the original console port and everything is back to normal.

The first time I plugged it in and then powered it on the system shut it self off saying hardware failure, the second time I tried I was able to get to the load screen but it wouldn’t charge my controller and PS4 claimed that the so called USB 3.0 was not in-fact a USB 3.0 so it would not run my external harddrive.
