Whole 30, day by day
I love this book because it gives tips and advice everyday of the whole 30. It gives you space to write down your daily nonscale victories. It was like having Melissa at my home!

I JUST got this and I'm actually on day 24 of what's probably my 5th Whole30 and skimming through this book makes me want to just start over at day 30 (I plan to do the reintroduction, then do xmas and consciously blow my body out of the water with cinnamon rolls, which I'm sure my body will hate/love at the same time) but I fully intend to do another W30 for Jan JUST so I can go through this book!This is truly what I've been looking for to not only help keep me accountable but the tips she provides, the spaces for reflection and tracking sleep, energy and cravings and really documenting the full process is invaluable! This current W30 I'm on I've vowed to do it w/ pure intention (focus on shifting my mind set and emotional body, energetic body vs just the focus in physicality) and I created a wee lil journal that does help w/ keeping the WHY really present in this process but my own creation is really not structured and I've fallen off from doing it. I see this book helping me be more consistent with it.ALSO - each day I always gravitate towards the Whole 30 Timeline that's been online to help get some understanding for where I'm at on a certain day so this book is like that on steroids x498238 (approximately +/- 4). I just flipped to day 24 in the book and the first sentence reads, "It's DAY 24... but if it weren't for this handbook you'd have lost count by now." HA! I actually just had to whip out my calendar this morning and count how many days it has been because I have forgotten and I am already starting to think about the end of this 30 days and how I want to move forward and that's exactly where this book is at.I've done a ton of Vipassana retreats and I'm always blown away by how much Goenka knew just where people were at on what day of their meditation retreat. You can tell when a teacher really pays attention to the affects of their program on the people they are there to serve and because they are paying attention to those who they impact, you know they really care about the individuals and their success in their health/wellbeing. Melissa has been paying mother-effin-attention and from the way she interacts with people on social media and with the ways she's integrated ALL she has observed over the course of the last few years as gazillions of people do her program, you know she's got mad love for all of us.Thank you Melissa! This new book is going to be such an incredible asset in all my future W30's! You're the best! *zen dude emoji*Oh and p.s. the print quality and solidness of this book feels quite lovely in my hands. I'm digging the design and paper selection a ton!

An important tool for becoming aware during Whole30
This day by day journal is the perfect tool on the Whole30 journey. For each day, you are tracking reflections, meals, energy levels, sleep quality, etc. it’s so handy to be able to look back on any day and know exactly what you ate and how you felt, it helps making connections or to start seeing trends where there is room for improvement. This is a great little buddy for the challenges you will face in Whole30!

Someone who doesn't like to journal this gives enough information and ask very little of you to write down. But highly recommend on the whole 30 journey. I don't think I would've bought the book but only this.

Book bound upside down and backwards - guess that's what to expect from pre-order
I am a big fan of Whole 30 and have most of the books, so of course was excited to pre-order "Day by Day". The book looks great except that it's bound so the cover is upside down and backwards from the contents of the book. Every time I pick it up, I have to flip it over and then turn the whole book 180 degrees to orient the pages correctly. I know this is something shouldn't diminish the utility of the book but if you are on "Whole30" doesn't it bring out the OCD in all of us. It's kind of driving me nuts!Update: I emailed the author, Melissa Hartwig, via the Whole30.com website. She responded directly to my message and offered to put another copy in the mail to me at no charge. I received a properly bound book today with a special note from the author inside the front cover.I've been using the incorrectly bound version for the past five days because I just couldn't wait to start my Whole30 (beach vacation on the books for end of January!). Having attempted at least 6 Whole30's, I have to say I'm really liking the day-by-day journal. I'm impressed by the amount of research that went into each day's motivational tips and hearing what others have experienced at a similar stage. I always keep my own written account of my Whole30 efforts because it's educational to refer back to favorite recipes and what works for me. The journal adds new outcomes to track such as energy levels and cravings. I wasn't tracking those things before and the journal makes it really easy to track my status. I also like the start-of-day and end-of-day reflection exercises. I feel this is my most mindful Whole30 yet and highly recommend it to newbies and veterans of Whole30.

I love the tips and that I'm able to jot down ...
I love the tips and that I'm able to jot down ideas and how I'm feeling. What I don't like is how in the first week it says I'm supposed to feel tired, or frustrated or with lots of cravinga. Melissa Hartwig does say everyone will feel different, but I don't like starting my morning off thinking, "Oh today, I might feel tired with a lot cravings." I pick up the book at the end of the night. It get's better throughout. By the way, if been feeling great! Some cravings, but nothing out of control!

Excellent companion for your Whole30!
I bought this to guide me on my first Whole30, and it has been invaluable to my success! It's actually fun to journal the details of your experience every day, see all of your non-scale victories (#NSV) and make thoughtful observations and plans. Highly recommend!

Un must a avoir
Si vous vous apprêter à suivre le whole30, je vous recommande. A chaque jour il y a des encouragements, il y a un espace pour écrire ce que vous avez manger, ce que vous ressentez etc. Tout pour faire un suivi éclairé de votre démarche, il y a un signet ruban à même le livre pour marquer ou vous êtes rendu. Et à la fin du livre lorsque vous êtes à l’étape de la réintroduction, vous avez de l’espace pour annoter vos impressions et des conseils pour,la réintroduction longue ou rapide. Lorsque je ferai un autre reset, je vais recommander ce petit guide.

Il libro ti guida day by day nella sfida del Whole 30 con consigli e motivazione.Senza le parole lette in queste pagine probabilmente non ce l'avrei fatta.Inoltre, grazie a questo, ho preso la buona abitudine di scrivere un diario a fine giornata.

Perfect Whole30 Companion!
This book was so helpful keeping me on track and helping me reflect on the journey. I really enjoyed filling it in. Also, it was so great to flip back through for a months worth of food planning for the next whole30.

Recommend for your whole 30 success
Definitely recommend for tracking, motivation, inspiration and journaling! Good advise, tips and stories. Now this book is my coffee table book! Arrived quickly.
