Beautiful and so carefully packaged! Sounds lovely too. I used a different mallet than the one it came with. The one with it produces a bit more crashy light sound. The one I tried had a longer handle and round soft felt and the result is softer and lower frequency. I’d rec having a couple depending on your objective because they all sound good.

Greatly exceeded my expectations. The unique handmade look, the weighty, high quality stand and the lovely tone of this piece was far more than I expected, especially for the price. Looks amazing as a piece of functional decor in my living room and I absolutely love it!

I was surprised to see that the gongs look better than their respective pictures,can’t take my eyes off mine. I purchase a total of 3 gongs(Atlantis,Chocolate drop and Solar flare) from Gongs Unlimited. They all came in a matter of days(fast!). My friends were delighted by the presents they received for Christmas! I bang my gong all day for fun when I am at home and it is very calming and brings a default state!It is also a gorgeous decorative item and goes well with any interior.Thank you!

Instead of buying at random, I was able to preview the gong sounds from the range of designs, in the size that I had chosen (14"), and saw that the one which was most visually appealing to me, did not produce the sound which I was seeking. One touch with the mallet just now after it arrived and I was very happy.Exactly what I wanted.There is a note supplied with the gong, which explains that artisanally hand made items don't look 'perfect', it's a shame that they need to tell people this. The sound is the key, the appearance is a bonus imho

Good quality. This gong for its size has a good sound with a fairly long resonating note. It does not sound ‘tinny’ which is important to me. I appreciate the relaxing effect it has on my mind/body. So, I am pleased with my purchase.

I've been going to sound baths and have become so fascinated with the gong that I wanted one for myself. This one is absolutely perfect for my home. It looks really cool and sounds great. At first I was concerned that I couldn't get the same kind of sound out of it that I've heard in the sound baths, and I was afraid that it was too small. But after watching some videos and experimenting for a couple of days, I finally got the technique down, and I'm thrilled with the sound I can get out of it. Both the gong and the stand are excellent quality. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Has a nice tone and is actually the size shown, but even though shipped in bubble tap you will see where the paint is missing on the edges...???
