Works great! I got the amps I needed.
Just hooked this up last night and works great. I have this in my Coleman RT100 I converted to electric. I hit about 30 MPH now. I installed the whole thing without looking at the instructions! lol After, I learned the self-study white cables work great if it's in reverse, like mine was initially. Careful, when you plug in the two white cables to each other, it turns on instantly. If it is going the right way, then unplug the two white cables and you are good. If not, keep it plugged in, turn it off, then back on again, until it does go the right way. Then unplug. I got the 2000W my motor needed! This worked fine with the new thumb throttle I bought, and the 2000W Kun Ray motor. Oh, and the extra red power cable needs to connect to the on/off switch, or key.

Decent power with shunt mod
Still has a lot of throttle lag and is only 45 amps ( not bad since I shunt modded it) acceleration is better than any stock e bike but still not close to what I see with the more expensive controllers . It’s ok for what it costs .

Better than my original controller
I used this to replace the melted down controller for a Vevor 1800w 48v brushless motor kit. This controller, using the same throttle and three-speed control switches on my scooter, provides finer throttle control, harder acceleration and even less noise from the motor. What's not to like? It also allows for reversing motor rotation without cutting wires. The only gotcha is the small gauge red lockout wire. This needs current direct from the positive terminal on your battery for the motor to run, and the instructions don't make this clear. I used an automotive relay to send 48V+ to this wire. Works fine.

NOT for electric bikes or scooters. DANGEROUS.
Do not buy this controller for an ebike or scooter. This controller has a "zero start" function built in. The delay in the throttle response is flat out dangerous. With a 500w controller its not a big deal. But on a bike or scooter, its all bad. I put this on my modified razor dirt bike. Paired with an 1800w motor this thing had great power, but everyone that rode the bike almost killed themselves. You turn the throttle and nothing happens for a second and a half, and then all of a sudden WHAM the front wheel comes out from underneath you. I guess for a go kart it would be okay if you got used to the delay. But for a bike....its a no go.

Don't know if it works.
Building an e-bike trike. Probably shouldn't have bought a used controller but Amazon had it in stock. I've never had a problem with any purchase with Amazon but this time it was disappointing. The used controller has a bunch of connectors cut off; as one would do to salvage connectors for an inoperative unit. Also, no label or documentation to confirm specs. I will attach new connections and test just to see how badly I was screwed. Fingers crossed. --------------- OK...soldered on the missing connectors and... I'M VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!! Controller is working perfectly and I got some much needed soldering practice.

Solid product, worth the small premium for extra power
So far, so good with this controller. It is more powerful compared to the replacement and larger in size. Ive purchased several controllers and while this one is more expensive, its power certainly justified the cost. Standard connections mostly but some wires are unique. For example I’m not sure what is required to make the alarm work. Perhaps this could be reused to trigger a light and or buzzer if the batt or motor gets hot or under volted. —— Short version is this Bldc controller is powerful and easy to use - we’ll see how it does over time

This thing has been my old reliable
I gave this four instead of five because the inability for user settings. I am pretty sure that this runs on your constant draw. And therefore giving the motor 30A only happens at a climb but I have shunt modded this thing and its a good controller its not great if there was a little more customability id give it a 5 but its 100v caps and just never seems to break ...... I used it daily about 10 miles a day on my commutes in between buses and trains. But if you want something cheap and reliable , but if you are looking for a diamond in the rough extremely fast controllers this isnt the one.
