It started to drip after a year - this seller was not helpful to replace it. Wanted me to return - postage would be = to buying another one from a reputable seller.

This arrived quickly and was the correct spec.Unlike the INSANE original cartridge design (now abandoned) on the early Franke Ascona taps this one has a conventional hex nut and works as a direct replacement. I have not been able to remove the cold cartridge despite Herculean efforts and the use of many tools so when that fails I will be destroying the whole tap with a sledgehammer, which is a shame, but I will enjoy it. But this one works nicely and fitted with no shenanigans.

I have a big problem with this product as it dosen't seem to stand the test of time. Here we are 12 weeks after the order was placed and 11 weeks after the part was fitted and it is leaking already. I would have thought a part like this should last a few years especially in a soft water area like Paignton in Devon.

Our plumber has now fitted these valves to our dripping tap. He replaced both the hot and cold ones. It seems to have cured the drip. I note they are guaranteed for 12 months, so will remember this, if any problems arise.Very good price.
