Reflectix BP24010 24" x10' Foil Insulation (5)

I used this to cut window covers for my camper van. I have tinted windows, so I cut the panels to the dimensions of each window such that they would be held in place by tension. I then covered the side that faces outward with black fleece and stuck it down on back with duct tape. Once the insulation is fitted, the windows just look blacked out, instead of having that telltale glint that says, "This is a camper! Break in and steal stuff!". The insulation helped keep the temperature inside the van bearable on some 20°F nights. The reflective side facing inward presumably helped reflect heat back in. Combined with the fleece, the Reflectix kept light from coming in, making for a darker sleep environment. I did leave a 2" space at the tops of the largest windows so that we could have some sense of time, and also a way to see what was going on outside when needed. It worked like a dream! For winter, I did not experience any drawback to putting the fleece on the outside, and I highly recommend doing that - especially if you're a stealth camper.

Used this to cover the inside of the attic door attached to my room. Hot air was leaking from the edges. Hot air coming was about 89 degrees. Few minutes after installing the sheet it went down to 84. Another 30 min later about 80. Great product.

Lined our cooler which did help the ice last twice as long as usual.

This is a great alternative to more expensive ground/sleeping mats. I use it in conjunction with my Coleman self inflating mat, and I stay warm swinging on my hammock. With this size, you can cut it in half and have two mats.Thanks Dave Canterbury for this idea.

I live out of my truck and use this on the windows. It helps a lot. You're still in a vehicle so it gets F-Balls hot, but it helps a lot. Also when the AC is run - it cools off faster. For any other application I currently can't speak to, but I can speak to the quality of it and it's easy to cut/size.

So easy to use. Made window coverings for my motorhome. Big difference in inside temperature. I cut them a bit oversize so they would fit tight around the perimeter of each window. My son liked it so much he's going to do his campervan windows.

This was a well needed purchase for a class B RV! It’s amazing how much summer heat comes in through the windows in the cab when these aren’t installed. It was an unbearably hot area that I couldn’t use before but now I can. Pretty much doubled my usable interior space when parked in the daytime summer heat. Was enough to do every single window in the van/class B RV except for the rear window. Luckily I had already made one for that window. Can’t wait to see how it holds the heat in/cold out during the colder winter months.

Used for a doghouse, worked excellent and easy to use.
