This is one of those items where I can't figure out how it has so many good reviews. It worked for like 2 days that used it and then it became one of the worse items I've ordered on amazon. I was making burgers, and each patty weighed 5 oz. After the 8th meatball the meat starting weighing 5 oz but looked less than half the sizes of the first few and I was cleaning it well every single time I placed food on it. I then weighed the first meatball and it said it was 11 oz when it clearly was not. I'm passed the return date and I could not regret ordering this item more than I do. What a waste of money.

I’ve never had a kitchen scale but have been wanting/needing one for a while. I decided to try this on and have been happy with the purchase. The scale looks good and I don’t mind having it sitting out on the cupboard, or it is small enough that it can easily fit in a cupboard or a drawer. The display works well and it is easy to switch between the different units. It’s not anything too fancy, but it does what you’d need a kitchen scale to do, while looking pretty good.

This a nice size scale and amazingly is as light a feather so looks are deceiving . It will be easy to stow away when not in use. Like the stainless steel top for easy clean up

Happy with this scale. It reads within 1 gram of a different scale that I paid a lot more money for and has very repeatable read outs. The stainless top is nice—easy to wipe clean when you get gunk on it, which will happen. The backlit screen is easy to read. Overall no regrets.

It is very easy to place a small tray, if you prefer, and tare it out.Very easy to use and reliable.

I bought these to use as postage scales rathe r than kitchen scales, but I've ended up using it for both and throwing my old 2kg kitchen scales away.The reason I wanted them as postage scales is I buy and sell a lot. I buy a lot of gadgets like tablets and phones and when I get bored of them, I list them on ebay and post them out. I used to use my kitchen scales and they only when up to 2kg so when I had a heavier parcel I had to either guess or take it to be weighed somewhere else. I'd looked at scales before but most of them only went up to 5kg. Then, the other day, I had a heavy parcel to post so I looked again and searched for 10kg postal scales and they were very expensive. I then searched for 10kg kitchen scales and found these and decided to give them a go.Well, firstly, they are perfect as kitchen scales. They have a lovely, flat, wipe clean top that you can put food directly on to and any residue will easily wipe off. Or, you can put a bowl or container on to the scales, press the Tare button to zero it and then weigh your food in that. You can select metric or imperial. The display is easy to read and will power off after a few minutes or you can press and hold the Tare button to turn it off. It takes AAA batteries (x2) so no problems with hard to find watch batteries or anything like that.As postage scales, they are perfect for what I need. Being able to weigh packages up to 10kg is more than enough. My packages are usually between 1-5 kg, but occasionally they might stretch to 6 or 7. Hermes (my preffered deliverer) will take up to 10kg. Again, they are easy to use. I set the scale to read kg and then tare it. Put the parcel on and read off the result. I won't run the risk of being overcharged for sending a parcel that's too heavy because I guessed - or far more likely, I won't pay too much because I sent a parcel that was lighter than I guessed. I can now get a perfect weight regardless of how heavy my package is.So there you go. One set of scales that is ideal in the kitchen and ideal for all those people like me that send a lot of stuff in the post.

Since moving house my large kitchen has changed to a small kitchen and ever since I've been working on downsizing everything including the kitchen scales :] I have always used analogue scales and they're too big now. This Keepax electronic scales is so small so it's going to fit nicely into my kitchen, thats if I don't lose it. The Purple digital display caught my attention, I like that colour and the digits are large enough to read clearly. These scales are very easy to use, just have to hold down the button to switch it on, wait a few seconds for the display go to zero and away we go. One particular feature that I like is that I can put a bowl on the scales and set that to zero and still be able to weigh the contents of the bowl. They have pin point accuracy. Once I've finished using them they switch off automatically after 60 seconds and can be wiped clean with no effort at all.For other buyer, i hope my review is helpful in any way. Thank you keepax.

I've used the market leader for my last two sets of kitchen scales, but they had a number of issues:- button controls (on/off/tare) were very tempremental.- brushed stainless steel look got very scratched and ugly.- watch type battery was an issue.- periodically it would just refuse to turn on, then after a while it would start working again.- Neither lasted very long.Hence I decided to give Keepax a go.I've only had the scales for a couple of weeks, but my scales get used several times every day. Here's what I've found so far.- They switch on and off quickly and reliably.- The tare function is reliable.- The glass shows no signs of scratching yet.- I like the AAA batteries.- There's a one second delay between adding some weight to the scale and it registering on the display.- The display works well if you are directly above it, but not well if viewed from any other angle.- The scales seem accurate (as you would expect).Of course the real test is time, so I'll update if things go pear-shaped.Currently I am very happy with the scales.
