Janus Summerwool 100% Merino Wool Women's Boxer Shorts Made In Norway

Like the previous reviewers, I liked everything about them and took good care of them, hand washing with the wool detergent, no rubbing. Nevertheless, they developed a hole in a crotch and got torn around the waist area after a year and 2 months. They were not even worn all the time, since I purchased several merino wool underwear and took turns wearing them. The other ones are not "summerwool", not as thin, and have not developed any holes so far. For the money I paid, I expected to be able to wear them much longer than a year and 2 months.

Who knew? These undershorts are beautifully made, and incredibly comfortable. They do not bind anywhere, in anyway, I feel secure in them, yet there really are no panty lines. Additionally, as a woman in the stage of "personal summers," with a major, ahem, sweating issue in the crotch area, these actually do wick away moisture and keep me dry. I have a feeling I could wear them several days in a row without them getting a funky smell, but I won't. One wear, hand wash. I want more.

I'm liking the shape and feel a lot. Just a tad thicker than I'm used to.
