Maroo Leather Folio Case for Surface Pro 3 (Black)

Bought this one because it did not completely cover the fans and it lets the Surface Pro "breathe" so the chances of overheating are a lot less. So far so good except one of the corners is out of shape (it came that way), otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful. Bought this for my Surface Pro 3 and it fits really well. The only thing is that there's nothing to keep the case closed when its being carried.

This is a nice case. It's a little difficult to get off and on the surface, but I solved the problem by clipping a small corner of the plastic that holds the tablet in place. Good value for the money.

The case is one of the best cases I have ever purchased. The reasons I love the case are as follows:1. The case has three plastic clips which hold the surface pro 3 securely in place;2. When closed the case looks like it is simply a leather bound notebook. This cuts down on possible theft, if you leave it in your car, or on your desk;3. The leather is well made and the leather appears to be top quality.4. The case also has a kickstand which holds the surface for typing. However, the kickstand is not adjustable.If you like a case which holds your surface in place, you will love this case.

not worth it. heavy, fake leather that looks old quickly, the fan runs loud because this case does not allow the metallic back to radiate the heat.

The leather is of very nice quality and it appears very sturdy. I have only had the cover for about 4 weeks or so so it is rather new but based on the construction I don't foresee any issues down the road. Thanks!

Although product reviews are subjective, I sometimes wonder if I am reading a review about the same product! After purchasing a sleeve type cover for my surface pro3 I needed something a little more substantial to protect the item as I carry it around for six hours a day, seven days a week. I first noticed this cover several weeks ago but the reviews about the retaining clips being too tight and not fitting the surface pro3 put me off. Unable to find anything else I liked I decided to purchase this case and take the risk.The case was delivered today and I opened the package with apprehension. Yet again I am left wondering what product some of the people leaving reviews were actually describing as they bear no resemblance to the product I purchased. For anyone thinking of buying this product, here are my personal opinions for what they are worth.PRODUCT: Maroo Executive Leather Case.1. The product was delivered on time.2. The product is leather.3. The quality is very good.4. The retaining clips are not too tight.5. The product fits the "SURFACE PRO 3" perfectly.Within two minutes the case was fitted to my surface pro3 and I was off out again. It is quite a heavy case but if you are looking for protection like I was then this is a small price to pay given the quality of the product and the level of protection it gives to what is an expensive piece of hardware. I am due to buy a second surface pro3 shortly and will be buying another one of these cases to protect it.

This is a nicely padded leather effect cover giving good protection but the best feature for me is the pen holder which means I can quickly note down ideas etc. using "one note" without having to search for the pen. There is a convenient rear stand for watching movies etc. Adds to the weight but that is not why I bought the SurfacePro. Have not tried with a keyboard. Does not power off the screen automatically when shut. I really like it.

Its a nice case, probably the most flexible of the folio style. Its well thought out and although it blocks the kick stand, provides all the angles that you're most likely to use. However, its a bit on the heavy side (expect laptop weight with the case and type cover) and quite awkward to install. It appears quite durable on provides good protection.I paid £30 for mine and I'm happy with the purchase, I believe this is the right price for this case.

Although the design and build overall is good, I feel there is a design weak point of the ribbon to retain the back from folding over. The ribbon has torn within 4 months which makes the case now unusable as the laptop cant be propped open. The location of the tear also prevents a fix.

As previous reviewer has stated, this is a quality product to protect your investment in the Surface Pro. I really don't understand why anyone would have issues about fitting the Surface into the case, it took just a few seconds. Product is really nice quality and yes it is a little on the heavy side, but if you want proper protection, then a lightweight cover is not an option.I have no hesitation in recommending this product and don't be put off by any negative reviews.
