Clovelly Soap Co Natural Handmade Lavender & Lemongrass Shampoo Soap Bar for Normal-Oily Hair & Scalp 100g

Wanted to use this as shampoo but sadly it didn’t work with my hair type. I have quite thin hair which gets greasy after a day and also it’s coloured, but this shampoo just made my hair heavy and very very greasy. I have been using it for three weeks as suggested and my hair did get a little less greasy by the end of the three weeks, but I think it just wasn’t working with my hair. The soap was leaving my hands waxy after using too- a problem a lot of other people have found. I wouldn’t suggest buying this product if you have hair that’s gets greasy easily or don’t have time to be able to go through the adjustment period. There are other soap shampoos out on the market which work much better and don’t leave you greasy/waxy after using. It might work on different hair types but unfortunately not on mine! Im going to demote it to a body soap instead!

Disappointing. I’ve been using shampoo bars for over a year and love them but this bar left my hair feeling greasy. Previous bars from Lush and from China have lasted several months but this one is going down much quicker. I wanted to love it and support a U.K. small business but it’s not shampoo. It’s a lovely moisturising soap and smells great but i won’t be buying again.

I wish I could write something positive but although beautifully wrapped, and smelt wonderful it was horrid to use. As a shampoo it left my hair like it had been washed in glue and the same stickie residue seemed to be on my skin too. You need to revise the ingredients. Took me 3 washes of my normal shampoo to get my hair back to normal.

I was really looking forward to receiving this product. The smell is lovely and presentation fantastic, however it left my hair feeling awful. Really dried out my hair and left it feeling dirtier and greasier than before. Really disappointed.

Really liked this. Lovely smell but not too overpowering. Didnt leave skin dry at all. Recommended.

It gives you a squeaky clean feel.
