The bopster Sport Pro has been designed with the commuter in mind.At 4.4kg this is the lightest adult urban scooter available and collapses down to a slim-line manageable folded state making it ideal for daily commuters and also for days out with the children. A strong and sturdy frame allows a maximum weight load of 100kg (16st) and a 3-height adjustable handlebar means it is suitable for those within the height range 5' - 6'.4''. With a one click rapid fold mechanism the Sport Pro is easily and speedily folded, saving time when arriving at your destination and allowing an easy transition from scooting to travelling on public transport. A slim-line folded state means even busy trains are manageable. Scooting to and from the station, bus stop, school, park, work or shops means you can complete a journey in an average of a third of the time as opposed to walking and burn off extra calories too. Average time saving: 20 minute walk = 7 minute scooting time. The Sport Pro is available in White or Black and is supplied in full colour retail packaging so is ideal as a gift item too. One of my best purchases ever.
This is absolutely brilliant!I'm now semi-retired and have regular days out using my wrinklies' bus pass. This scooter goes with me much of the time. It's great for extending my range and for getting around the cities and even for getting outside the villages. It's easy to fold and lock up when I want to leave it and walk round unencumbered. And it's MUCH easier to carry round than a folding bike.It folds up and deploys in seconds using one hand on the mechanism and is very easy to either wheel around holding the handlebar or carry. It goes on trains and buses without any problem. When folded, it stands up, so waiting at bus stops and on stations is no problem. And it's easy to get up and down steps to get from one platform to another. ... just try doing that with a folding bike!I also work part-time as a car delivery driver, and I take it with me every day. I frequently need to travel between jobs on public transport and this scooter saves me loads of time every single day. It fits in the boot easily and is no problem to carry with me. In fact, it's precisely the opposite, it gets me around quickly and easily. There is quite a lot of backlash in the folding mechanism which feels quite flimsy. However, once you get your weight on the footboard, all the backlash disappears and it's rigid and the steering is precise and predictable. The braking system is crap and cannot be relied on to stop you quickly. You really do need to keep your wits about you when riding this observing the surface for bumps and hollows and for errant pedestrians. It's probably nearly twice as fast as walking on the flat, and down slight inclines you can get up to a decent running speed ... and that's when the braking becomes a problem. Of course, going up anything more than a very gentle incline, you just get off and walk. It's also quite noisy over rough surfaces.Yes, loads of people laugh at seeing an old man on a scooter, but I don't care. I get where I'm going quickly and with little effort. Many of my fellow trade plate drivers take the pee, but I'm not losing sleep over that.

Fun commuting scooter
Good quality commuting scooter. The ride is pretty good for this type of scooter. The brake isn't the most effective though. Would get 5 stars with some proper brakes added. Easy to fold up and will also free stand once folded on the rear wheel and handle bars which is handy on the train.

It sucks that the back wheel does not have an extended ...
After using the scooter extensively, this is what I can say.It sucks that the back wheel does not have an extended cover - when it's wet outside you WILL get soaked in mud, from head to toe.The handlebar is not secure to the wheel at turns independently - up to the extend of being perpendicular on the wheel, while scooting. Makes it really dangerous.Otherwise, pretty pleased. But these two are huge inconveniences.

Great for Short, City Commutes
Bought this scooter as recently moved to Brighton, a super cycle friendly city where everyone seemed to use eco friendly transport to get everywhere. Originally wanted to live my childhood days again and get a Micro Scooter in adult size but couldn't find an appropriate size. This scooter fits my size and weight well, feel secure and safe on the design and the folding design makes this very portable... always have this now in the boot of my car just in case and have used it to get to train stations then take it on the train with me. Metal frame is sturdy and light.Only tiny issue is the brake at the back can become less efficient in the rain and the rear splash guard doesn't do as good a job as the front guard but these are to be expected.

Wanted to give it more stars but cant ignore the major safety fail
its lightweight, pretty rapid and does fold down remarkably easy. Good height adjustment on the handlbars too. Only a couple bugbears with this product, the handlebars do tend to become unaligned with the front wheel so needs to be kept an eye on for tightening. Also the little catches that you need to push in to fold down the handlebar ends require the worlds smallest fingers to release them. These negs though are minor compared to its big downfall, that being its complete lack of brakes, the footbrake at the rear hardly does anything, overall not a bad scooter at all, just wear some shoes you dont mind grinding down a bit to stop you careering into traffic

Broke after 4 months
The scooter is robust and good to ride. Unfortunately, the bearings in the front wheel broke after 4 months of use. Disappointed with the amount of usage we got out of the product.
