KMG Front + Rear Brake Pads Compatible with 2002-2008 Honda VTX 1800 R - Non-Metallic Organic NAO Brake Pads Set

I have a VTX 1800F and needed to replace the brake pads. After lots of searching I decided to take a chance with these. No regrets! The heavy bike stops as if on the OEM pads! Very pleased! I used the backing plates from the original pads on these replacement pads so there is no screeching when coming to a stop. They are a little thinner than the OEM pads but for the price they are well worth it.

So far I've only put about 8,000 miles on them but they are working great. No noise. I did transfer the anti rattle clips over from the old pads, they don't come with be ones and I applied anti squeal lube during installation... they are only getting 4 stars because they do seem a little thinner than original equipment but they are way less expensive so it's a balance... will see how long they last.

I purchase the set with Part Number PAD 261, installed them on my rear disc brake (front pads will be installed in about two months), and test-drove my 2003 VTX around the block. These pads feel strong and secured. I highly recommend them for the quality and the low price.

Pads are way too thin compared to OEM. Also not of the same quality by OEM Honda brakes. I have to throw them away they are worthless. I can’t return them because I’ve already use them on my bike a little bit garbage

Awesome brake pads for the price. They don’t feel cheap and bite down great.

I only have about 1k miles on them but they are a good pad with good stopping power once broke in properly. I've never heard of this brand before and thought well at this price they won't stop me on my first ride but at the same time I could not pass on it and see how they were. And for once you get a lot more than you pay for with these pads! I ride very aggressive and average about 100 miles a day when I do ride. I will totally buy a second set now that I know that they are just as good as my OEM pads. They do smell a bit weird once you open them but I guess because of what they are made out of had something to do with that. Overall I am very happy with this product and you will be too!

Quality breaks, make sure you save your old shims from the original pads, not quite up to snuff as the OEM but the difference is minimal. These did fit on my VTX 1800 F
