Does this model include a pull out handle?

This is a big, heavy box and it does include pullout handles. This is truly a waterproof, airplane compatible box. But, like I said it is heavy.

Is this case accepted as airline baggage? If so, any issues?

Not that I'm aware of. It would have to go via oversized which simply means it would have to be checked in, in a designated area. Best to check with the airline.

Can the extendable handle system be removed?

It has 12 square head screws attaching the handle and frame to the body. Should be very easily removed if you desire. Also, it appears that the wheels will come off with the handles and frame.

Can the foam inserts be removed?

I don’t remember as it’s been so long ago, but I believe they can. It’s an awesome container and did mr well in Baghdad and Pakistan.
