Bethel Music's latest album VICTORY features 14 confident, declarative songs recorded live at Bethel Church. The album is inspired by the story of King Jehoshaphat, and the unlikely victory won by sending worshipers to the front lines of battle in 2 Chronicles 20:22. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against the men who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. Along with current worship leaders Brian and Jenn Johnson, new emerging voices from our worship community are featured on this album such as Emmy Rose and Bethany Wohrle. Outside voices include Molly Skaggs, part of the Cageless Birds ministry led by Jonathan and Melissa Helser, who brings a grass-roots spirit with her song Ain't No Grave, and Daniel & Harvest Bashta with their new song Drenched in Love. Many of the songs on this album were forged in the midst of extreme circumstances, ushering our community into a place of unified dependence where we learned to fight battles Gods way - with worship. Mighty declarations like, I raise a hallelujah in the presence of my enemies / I raise a hallelujah louder than the unbelief, were written the very night that Joel and Janie Taylor, a family in our community who helped found and launch Bethel Music, faced the possible loss of their son Jaxon. I bought this primarily for just the ONE track - Raise an Hallelujah .................................. but it's turned out to be a great album. For anybody who loves their 'Praise & Worship Music', this album is an absolute NECESSITY. I'd recommend it for personal listening, during church services or for starting off small Housegroups/Bible Study/Prayer Meetings.

Such a wonderful CD
The Victory CD is just so powerful. I have it playing in my living room as much as possible. The first track "I raise a Hallelujah" is wonderful if you know the story behind it regarding the healing of little Jaxon. The second track is a great favourite too but everyone of the songs blesses me. Hugely recommended for those who love to worship.

A really good album, with lots of great songs
It's not unusual to get a worship album that has one or two god songs but I skip past the rest. This is different, it's quite simply a really good album with lots of songs that you'll want to listen to again and again. Worth buying!

love it love it love it !!! this is a cd of all cds . it lifts you up. makes your heart sing. makes you feel You can Do anything in Christ Jesus. the music is fantastic all the way through it. its modern. spirit filled and led .And It Will Lift You Out of Your Pit of Misery or troubles .

Great praise and worship sounds
Love this album. The songs are varied and sung by different artists giving it a good sound. They all support the central theme and make great praise and worship songs

Victory by Bethel music
Absolutely loved this album because there is a sense of overcoming in all circumstances that we face when we have Jesus in our corner. There aren't any tracks that I dislike but my two favourites are "Raise A Hallelujah" and "The Goodness of God". Whenever I get the house to myself I blast the music out as loud as I dare without causing a nuisance to my neighbours.

Worship at its Best!
Das ist abermals ein absolutes Highlight am internationalen Worship-Himmel (haha, das sind wieder Wortspiele hier :-)). Und das ist gut so, denn wenn es stimmt, dass "Praise the Highway to the Heart of God" ist dann müssen wir immer wieder Treibstoff haben, um vorwärts zu kommen. Das erste Lied "Raise a Hallelujah" ist schon ein genialer Einstieg (der übrigens absolut alltagsbezogen ist - ich lasse seither immer wieder mal ein Hallelujah los während der Arbeit. Der Johnny Cash Hit "Ain't no Grave" hat eine Grundrenovierung erfahren die das Original weit in den Schatten stellt und der Song "Drenched in Love" ist dann mein dritter Hit auf dem Album. Zwischendrin aber immer wieder gut angefüllt mit singbaren, ehrlichen Liedern fürs Auto, daheim und den Gottesdienst! Well done, weiter so und hoffentlich irgendwann mal live!

Uplifting and powerful! Molly Skaggs "Aint No Grave" is one incredible!
I'm not going to get hung up on the controversy with Bethel Church's ministry. If you are looking for uplifting inspirational music you'll find that here. If all you ever did was listen to Molly Skaggs "Ain't No Grave" then this CD would be worth every penny. I liked the entire CD.
