DEEP BASS that travels with you. To the Superbloom I go!
I was anxious to receive this Tronsmart Bluetooth Speaker for a recent road trip to the High Desert and it sure did pack a punch. Great packaging as it was very well done along with easy unboxing. It took about 1 minute from unboxing to connecting to bluetooth and playing theatrical music for the wildflowers.Pros1. Very durable with rubber slip-proof footing- I had this on a slanted platform and it worked great. You have the option to hang the speaker with its built-in clip2. Loud! Lots of Bass!- Played lots of theatrical and movie scores3. Oversized buttons made it easy to toggle through speaker functions4. User friendly, simple to use. Took about a minute from unboxing to playing music via bluetooth from a mobile device.5. Packaging is well built and I have been using it as a storage case that holds up very well.6. Water proof tested- Speaker floats well while playing music. As the Bass hits, water spits out like a fountain as you can see in one of the photos of water splashing on the speaker panel. I continued to play music after it is out of the water and it performed perfectly fine.7. When receiving phone calls it tells you the actual phone number that's calling in, not the name that's saved on the mobile device, but an audio of the incoming 10 digit phone #, this useful only if you remember your contact's phone #Cons:1. If using the device to take a phone call you may have to speak louder and/or directly to the speaker. The other end often say that they have a hard time hearing as if the sound is muffled.Tips:- Clean it after each use. Because of it's durable rubber exterior, it tends to attract dust, it's easier to clean with a damp cloth than try to brush debris off. Don't be afraid to pour water on it as it's Waterproof.- For best audio, make sure the USB-C and Line-IN port is facing away from you. The mid-to high range audio will be projected towards you. The Bass can be heard very well 360degrees. You can put the speakers to your ears on both sides and you'll find one side is clearer than the other. The Tronsmart Bluetooth Speaker makes a great replacement for speaker systems in older model vehicles. Bring one along for your road trip and enjoy the tunes!Next destination of testing is at a Drive Thru Movie theater. Yes these still exist in many cities throughout the USA!

Loud...LOUD
Amazing sound for a speaker under $60! This thing is rated at 40W and it does produce the sound! I have it cranked up all the way and every piece in my "Test Headphones" (see list below) playlist comes through with great fidelity. There is no distortion even at the highest volume level in any of the frequencies. The extra bass EQ setting (default) is quite punchy. Yes, you can feel it as well as hear it, even at low volume levels. I actually like the 3D setting the best, though, I think. It gives a full sound even at low volume levels.Pairing was simple and easy. It can also pair with another Bluetooth Element Force speaker. This is built for quality. I immediately noticed the heft in weight as I took it out of the box. (The packaging, by the way, is also high quality.) All the materials are high quality. It does have four rubber feet pads to protect surfaces. It is rated at IPX7 to allay any fears of having it out in the rain. It also takes SD cards, NFC, USB-C, and Aux (mini plug, aka 1/8" jack) inputs. Battery life seems impressive. It also goes to sleep after 15 minutes to preserve battery life.I highly recommend this purchase. You will be happy with it.TEST HEADPHONE PLAYLIST"Lingus" (Snarky Puppy)"Aha!" Sound is Decent but Not Great.
I originally bought the TriBit Stormbox Speaker and I liked it better than this one. But it had a fatal Flaw. The Tronsmart uses a USB C connection for charging and the Tribit uses Micro USB.Within 2 weeks the Micro USB Slot on the Tribit was malfunctioning and back to Amazon it went.Compared to the Tribit. The sound on this unit is not as good, it's decent but nothing to write home about. Tribit was better. Form Factor this one is quite small and weight 2 lbs. The Tribit weighed 1 1/4 LBS,I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GXJFRZZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so I can go to the park and listen to it as I'm walking. It's lite enough to be quite portable. On the positive side, the speaker is very durable, feels solid and totally waterproof. It has a good range and pairs easily. The battery lasts awhile and because it has USB C I can charge it with a USB Bank or my Car Charger. So if I have one complaint it's that the sound is adequate but not great. Still it does produce a darned large sound for such a tiny speaker.
