Very tasty....but disappointed with the salt content. I like full control of salt in my diet, hence why i cook. So, this "Haute Cuisine Faux Pa" was a waste of money for me. i was curious about the taste that Chinese cooks call the secret ingredient...which to a French/European based cook already knows about. I'll go back to my old stand by, which taste better and has no salt....Extra Dry or dry Sherry. If you don't have dry sherry in your kitchen... This is the next best thing, just go easy on the salt. This is also a great replacement for recipes if you can't get any Dry Sherry or wine.

Excellent tasting cooking wine, with a powerful aroma, useful in a wide variety of dishes and can be used to substitute sherry if necessary. Product arrived quickly and no damage or leaks.

I love marinating with this. It really gives my food an asian taste. The bottle comes property packed. My husband gets excited when he smells me using this because he knows I'm about to make Asian food.
