This album has already had a number of excellent reviews which I totally concur with. George and the boys live will blow your socks off. They know how to have fun, make you have fun and you can hear that its a total blast for them - hell they've been doing this over 30 years so they must be doing something right. Go and see them live after buying and listening to this. There isn't any difference except being there getting hot and sweaty beats any other concert you may attend ever. You won't hear overdubs or any cleaning this is warts and all and you get this on album and in any venue. I cant fault them, I just love them, so will you.

以前から気になっていたのですがつい忘れていたところがひょんな事から見つけて購入。想像どうりにブギを基本にしたブルールやロックンロールのノリノリのライブは癖になります。ダミ声のボーカルと太いスライドギターの相性は抜群で私は好きですね。もっと日本でも人気が出てもいいような気がするけれども何故かあまり知名度も無いし人気が無いようです。それが残念ですね。ノリノリが好きな方やハードブルールやスライドギターが好き方にはお薦めですよ！

If you're a fan of George's music, this is a good collection. I'm just not big on live recordings. I think the crowd noise detracts.

Fantastic gritty blues!

George and the Destroyers were gods onstage in the 80s into the early 90s, although they still tour today.I see all the 5 star reviews for this CD, and I have to disagree.Yes-the guitar work by George is stellar, the sound quality of this album is mint.My beefs with this CD are song selection and Reelin and Rockin' being cut.If you've ever seen George live, you know that he usually opens with a kick-ass, turbo-charged Chuck Berry styled rocker that kicks your ass such as Long Gone, Hello Little Girl, Be Bop Grandma or currently, Sweet Little Rock and Roller.Instead, the CD opens with Who Do You Love...Sorry, THAT is not how you kick off a Thorogood live CD/show.To think that Long Gone, Memphis, I Really Like Girls, Gear Jammer(Find me one Thorogood fan who doesn't love hearing this in concert) Willie and the Hand Jive and Move It On Over were ALL scrapped for Bottom of The Sea and Alley Oop?ARE YOU KIDDING ME??Not only that, Reelin and Rockin AND 1 Bourbon 1 Scotch 1 Beer are both cut to less than half the length of their times!And you guys call this a 5 star album?If you haven't ever heard Long Gone live back in the late '80s-early 90s you don't have any idea what you missed. And how Move It On Over was scrapped...that song live was like an event in itself.This CD should be re-released in the show's entirety!THAT would be a 10-star CD!

Save for one or two songs, all of his work sounds the same to me. I bought this for the 2 songs, so not a total waste of money.

One of my all time favorite albums. Very good sound quality.

I use to have this on on cassette a long time ago. My favorite song is "Alley Oop". I can even remember how it goes but will wait a little bit longer to buy the CD. As I remember the artist was called "George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers"
