The first couple of times I used this tape it worked well, unrolled easily and cut cleanly. It is definitely an advantage to have clear tape which you can use to stick on address labels (or similar) without having to worry about obscuring them.I kept the roll of tape in a drawer in my kitchen for a couple of months, then tried to use it again only to find that it was now impossible to peel any tape off the roll without it disintegrating and shredding into very thin strips. I tried to discard the ripped bits of tape and cut a fresh edge, but after several minutes of the tape ripping when I tried to peel it I threw away the whole thing in frustration. It had not been subject to any extremes of temperature or to humidity, and a smaller roll of sticky tape which was stored next to it still works fine so I think there must be a fault with the Duck Tape.

Much better to have clear than brown tape because it makes it great for hanging decorations there sticky tape isn't strong enough.I've used this take on curtain poles to stop catching of eyelets on the adjustable section and know it's secure so the poles won't be movingly.I'm unsure about the strength when using to secure bottoms of boxes, however it's the strongest parcel take I've used, meaning I'm using less tape overall.No issues trying to find the end as it's clearly visible when held at the light as there's no bubbling in the tape like cheaper brands.I've been converted into using clear parcel tape and will definitely buy this same product again.

It's ok tape, but you don't get much of it. I've had better for cheaper prices over the years. You are paying for the brand name. I used a whole roll in one package. Its very short vs competitors length. It sticks ok but not great when applying to cardboard.

Its heavy duty in that its very thick, but its too thick - it doesn't adhere well because its too thick to conform to the surface well. I don't know what they've done but they've made it less adhesive than normal packing tape. Its twice as thick but that doesn't really help. It doesn't adhere well to cardboard. I'd save your money and buy two cheap tapes and use twice as much - the thickness will end up being the same, and it will stick a lot better. A dud.

The roll packaged up a large parcel 42x 48x32 so didnt last long. Its good tape but makes it expensive for lots of parcels. I also found it was as sticky as the brown tape or definitely not as sticky as original duck tape.Pros...you can protect and see lables underneath.Easy to handle/cut as good thickness.Cons... not as tacky as original.Easy to take offExpensive for useOverall i probably wouldnt buy again or recommend unless much cheaper

It breaks and splits easily and is more like a thin cellotape rather than a heavy duty tape to secure boxes. I had to use a whole roll for one parcel as it kept breaking.

I packed lots of boxes to move and the brown tape was peeling off in seconds or hours later. I then used white tape with ‘fragile’ written on it, same thing happened. So I had no option but to search for ‘sticky tape box’ on amazon and this showed up with good reviews. Boy the reviews are right. This is the stickeiest tape I’ve ever bought, works perfectly so far at the pre-moving stage!

This product arrived yesterday . Looks exactly as in its Amazon picture / ad.. I haven't needed to use it yet . I will update and do the stars rating when I eventually try it out. !..
