The molds are upside down.. so it makes no sense for a candle…

Everything in this kit works perfectly and the wax is nice and clean. However you get more wicks then you do stickers and the stickers are far larger then and the metal part on the wick in which it sticks. Not a big deal but I don't like seeing the white foam pad stick out from the metal round that it sticks to. Not a deal breaker just does not give a polished look.

Looking to save some money on the amount of candles I buy and burn through quickly, I decided to try making my own. I went with this wax kit because it gave me more stuff at a price point I was more comfortable with since I was just starting out. It's easy enough to use as a beginner and they do burn a bit on the slow side. However, I will not be purchasing this wax brand again for the following reasons:1. Does not burn evenly at all, even as a tiny tealight. Even tried someone's tip of adding a little coconut oil when melting to help with an even burn.2. The wicks stop lighting halfway through the candle, no matter the size of the candle and how much wick is left on top of the wax.3. The smell of the wax itself is so strong and no matter how much good quality fragrance oil I used, nothing would mask that smell. There was zero scent of any fragrance unless you put your nose directly over the flame, and even then, the wax smell overpowered the fragrance oils.The smell gave this 1-star IMO, but due to the cost of what you got to try it out factored in with the burning issues, I bumped it up to 2 -stars. If you just want to try making a candle and don't care if it's scented or not, this kit is cheap enough to give it a try. But if scented is what you are looking for, this one isn't it.

I'm new to candle making and honestly, this is some of the best wax kit I've used to far, I've tried palm wax which was ok but I love the soy wax so much more! It comes out smooth and the molds are amazing and easy to demold.

The wax melts nicely, but the scent doesn't seem to attach to the finished candle. It also has trouble mixing with color in an even display. Once burned, it turns back to white -- not my favorite but works for beginners.

Very easy to use. My four-year-old and I make candles. I like that it comes with the adhesives for the wick oh, this is the part where my toddler helps me by attaching the adhesive to the wick. Very simple instructions, very easy to use. If you want to add essential oils or color you would have to purchase that of course but this is a very good starter kit for those who just want to experience making candles especially with young children.

I used my own beeswax, and they came out of the mold perfectly. Unfortunately, I received 2 male torso molds instead of one male and one female, but I am hoping the vendor resolves it. Overall very happy with this product!

Made a few diff 4oz candles (natural, scented, plain and colored) and the wick mushroomed with every type. I think the wicks may be too large for candles that size. There's no other explanation. Besides that, really cool kit for beginners. It's my first time trying to make candles. This brand is not too bad. I love the placement stickers for the wicks. Makes it easy to secure the wick.

The kit is great value for the price especially for the molds. The wax, the one I particularly got I hope was just a bad batch as it was wet and the candles would not turn out and became grainy. (This happens if the wax is like that). The dye flakes are really good, as well as the needle for poking a hole in the molds. The wick string is hard to get through the mold hole but it works eventually! Overall the kit for the money is good for the molds, dye flakes and wick!!
