Careful with the assembly!
A true powerhouse of a work cart: we bought two of these for a very specific purpose, and I expect them to well outlast their assigned job, and we'll be using them for years beyond that. Roll smoothly, are well designed in terms of features, and they hold a ton!The only reason I am not giving these 5 starts is because of the assembly. 1) You really need two people to put these together -- it is much, much easier. And keep your rubber mallet handy -- you'll be swinging it a lot. 2) As I said, we bought two of these. The first one went together fairly smoothly once we had two people on board. The second one was a different story. Two of the "struts" or "legs" or whatever you want to call the things between the two shelves were mislabeled. We moved them around, stared at them, moved them around again, stared at them some more, and finally ignored the instructions. Thank God it was the second one, and not the first, because we knew how it was supposed to look, and knew that we had to ignore the designations on them!! Had we not known to ignore them, we would have ended up throwing the whole d*mn thing through a plate glass window. The manufacturer really needs to be more careful about that.Other than that, I think we're going to love these.

Great value, durable cart.
Use this cart at work daily, and it is sturdy and hold up well. Quiet wheels. Smooth rolling.

A nice rolling utility cart that may be a little difficult for some users to assemble.
A very nice, light weight rolling cart. The plastic shelves will bend some with a moderate load but otherwise it's fine for our use (25-35 lbs. per shelf). It did not come with assembly instructions but I had no problem putting it together. A word of caution: the three shelves are not the same; the top, middle and bottom shelves are each different. Lay out the parts before you begin assembly. No fasteners are involved. The components all fit together with tight friction fits. I used a rubber mallet to drive most of the part together. Do not use a metal hammer as you will damage the aluminum and plastic parts. If you have to use a metal hammer, use a small block of wood to protect the parts from damage. Make sure everything is seated securely. The sharp inner edges will scrape off small shavings of plastic. This is normal. Remove the shavings after assembly with a utility knife if needed.Recommended.

A BEST BUY
I would have given this cart 5 stars if it had brakes on the wheels. Something to consider if you don't want your cart rolling away on an uneven surface. Easy assembly although the instructions could have been better written / illustrated. Best to have a rubber mallet to put some of the parts together. It is definitely a BIG cart but that is what I wanted including the handling weight of rolling 500 pounds around. For the price it is a BEST VALUE at approximately $65. Would have paid more for the wheel brakes if they were available. The shipping box I thought was a little on the flimsy side (cardboard seemed not strong enough to handle the shipping weight of the box). All in all I am more than satisfied with the purchase for now!

Poor instructions, cheap screws
Overall, this is a sturdy little cart. However, the instructions are terrible. There is one page with a blurry diagram and no step by step instructions. I was able to figure it out, but may be challenging to some. The 12 metal screws sent with the unit to mount the legs onto the top shelf are total crap. Every one of them stripped while tightening. Sandusky should spend an extra dollar on decent screws & pass that cost on to the customer.

Questionable product quality and support to customers
I ordered 4 of these units. Upon opening the last box and starting to assemble observed fracture/separations on two of the posts at mounting brackets (first two photos). Called Sandusky customer service and they were reluctant to honor sending any parts although warranted and blamed the damage on the shipper. So rather than getting into it with them I sent this back to Amazon who sent me another unit. Upon opening that unit (3rd picture) note foam area cracked which houses another damaged post with last picture showing another cracked mounting flange. In the interim prior to receiving the replacement shipment from Amazon I sent an email to Sandusky asking them 3 questions: #1 Do they package these at their US facility? Answer NO. #2 Are these units packaged by their overseas vendor in China? Answer YES. #3. Do they inspect these units prior to shipping to customers? Answer NO.I believe these answers are telling. It is easy to blame UPS but unless they inspect the units prior to shipping who is to say they are not damaged enroute to their warehouse in the US from the overseas production facility. As far as I am concerned I recommend you not purchase these given the response from the company. Just blame someone else for a problem in their supply chain. I am returning this and asking for a refund instead of a replacement.Hopefully I will not have a problem with Amazon having to return a second item as I am told they take a dim view of repetitive returns from customers.

Sturdy, and easy to assemble
Mine arrived with one caster/wheel that was incorrect. I contacted the seller directly and they shipped the correct one out right away. NOTE: 3 of the sets of nuts/locking washers on the wheels fell out on my first drive around the property. Thankfully I saw them and will be putting them back on with a little more "persuasion." FYI

Quality product
I use this cart daily at work and since purchasing 2 months ago, I haven’t had any issues with it. It is pushed along a hard floor surface similar to what you find in grocery stores. It has not let me down and I am hoping for a couple of years before I have to replace the wheels. Assembly is fairly easy and not time consuming. Overall I am happy with the cart.

Best Cart Available
Sandusky carts rule. They are extraordinarily sturdy and last a long time. I’ve had ordered many of them for our school and the first one purchased 12 years ago is still in excellent condition despite considerable abuse.

It needs better instructions but our marriage survived putting it together= AWESOME
4 1/2 stars:This cart (once you and your partner finally figure out how to assemble it and keep your marriage together like a pair of Ikea assembling pros) is amazing. We live in an apartment building and we use it as a laundry cart and get quite a few envious looks from fellow tenants. It fits surprisingly large baskets. We can use the drink holder for a metal or plastic bottle of water or pop and some slots work to fit a book and keys... and then we can be off to our horrid tenant -use at your own risk signs posted everywhere- shared laundry room. The expense of the cart has been a cost effective measure as it has saved us taking cabs to a laundromat; now we can hang out and commiserate with the few nice dwellers of this place we don't call home.I can easily fit two round laundry baskets on the bottom to sort bedding and towels and still have an upper deck to put up to 2 large baskets on top of each other with sorted dark/ light clothing. There is still space on the upper deck to hold in our detergent and bounce sheets inside. At 5'5 myself and my husband at 5'9 we find the height of the push cart comfortable. We enjoy the wheels that can spin in front (again instructions would have been helpful) but note that as the back wheels where we have installed the forward/backwards-only wheels to behave a little like a grocery cart: you can't shift to the side in an aisle/hallway, you must steer forwards and then turn to the side. However, once you get used to steering it is a breeze to get in and out of the elevator and through narrow doors. We no longer have to carry baskets ourselves like many tenants do which is a source of luxurious pride for us.We look forward to being able to utilise the up to 500lb capacity as our future moving dolley... just pack two generous Rubbermaid containers and pop them on this cart and we imagine it will run straight up the ramp of the moving truck!Although this isn't an all season tire garden cart and it takes up some decent square footage of our apartment; if you have a large enough storage closet inside your apartment you could hide it away whilst you to keep sorted dirty laundry out of sight... but even if this cart is taking up space and appears as a prideful display of our low income family 'wealth' to afford this luxury we are without worries about potential smelly garden cart tires as the cart really has no industrial smell accompanying its sturdy industrial design!
