Nathan Streamline Frosted Tritan Bottle

I live, work, and travel extensively in Africa, so my equipment always gets a beating. I used the previous generation Nathan water bottle continuously (basically every day) for 2 years. It was perfect for my needs. It never tainted the taste of the water and never leaked even if thrown around in the back of our Land Cruiser. The spout is much better quality than the REI and Camelbak bottles we had previously used. The clip was very handy - many times I would clip it to my belt when I didn't have hands free. It went with me everywhere. After 2 years of abuse and countless days left out in the African sun, the clip finally got brittle enough to break. So I was in the market again, and I decided to try the new generation of Nathan bottle.I've used the newcomer for 2 months now, and I'm very pleased. All the features and quality that I appreciated about the previous model are still on offer, but they've revamped the clip system. With the previous version you had to push on the clip to open the spout, which is what eventually caused it to break. This new version separates those two tasks, so the clip is just a clip. The spout opens with a dedicated push-button. Not quite as barebones simple as the previous model, so I'm interested to see how durable the spout mechanism will be. But overall, my hopes are high.I'm open to recommendations for the best water bottle out there, but so far, this is the best I've ever seen or used. Don't even consider REI or Camelbak while this Nathan is an option. It's in a whole different class.

I felt like I wasted my money on this bottle. I like the bottle itself, the contour, and material is nice. But there's the fact that when you lie it down, it leaks. I don't want to have to worry about if the bottle falls in my bag it's going to drip all over my things. But it did and now I don't want to use it anymore

I liked the water bottle in the beginning. Then the weather got warm .. as soon as you go from house with nice cold water and get in the car, the water bottle starts warming up, as one does.. then you open the flip straw and POW.. YOU ARE WET!!! It builds up pressure and lets loose as soon as you open it. I have gone into work numerous times looking like I have wet myself. If you live in cold weather climate 12 months out of a year.. you will love this water bottle. Very Frustrating!!

Great bottle, I love the grippy rubber on the bottom and the clip built in the handle. Only problem is that it does leak a little from the vent hole when the mouth piece is open. Other than that, it's great.

Had the Tritan for years and loved it so I thought I'd try the upgrade. This bottle drips water, seems to drip more the warmer the weather. It is also noisy when you drink from it. Stick to the old version.

Meine Tochter nutzt die Flasche zu Sport. Verschluss ist dicht und öffnet nicht von allein. Für Getränke mit Kohlensäure nicht geeignet.TOP für den Preis!!!

Gute Verarbeitungsqualität für einen angemessenen Preis. Optik und Haptik sind wirklich klasse. Positiv ist ebenfalls hervorzuheben, das es weder einen starken Kunststoffgeruch bzw. Geschmack am Anfang gab. Negativ zu bewerten ist die etwas schwere Öffnung per Knopfdruck (man braucht schon etwas Kraft im Finger und muss den Knopf an der exakt richtigen Stelle treffen, welche nicht mittig liegt ), der etwas zu große Durchmesser (passt weder auf meinen beiden bikes, noch im Studio in einen Halter) und zu guter Letzt eine gewisse undichtigkeit beim öffnen, wo immer etwas Flüssigkeit durch das Mundstück mit Austritt.Fazit: Gute Flasche zum angemessenen Preis mit leichten Mängeln.

Schöne Flasche mit gutem Verschlussprinzip. Leider ist dieses sehr Defektanfällig.Haben 3 dieser Flaschen und bei 2 davon klemmt der Trinkstutzen entweder, oder er rastet nicht mehr ein.

Die Flasche ist ganz ok und tut ihren Zweck. Sie ist aber im Handling ein bischen umständlicher, als andere Trinkflaschen. Wird nicht meine Lieblingstrinkflasche, aber ich habe keine groben Fehler entdeckt.
