Spent all afternoon trying to re-pack this line in a manner that wouldn't snag. Rope very liable to kinking causing it to jam even when very carefully coiled round a former and inserting into the bag this way. Got a 50% success rate and eventually the brass ring reinforcement came out. No instructions on how to repack the bag. Followed instructions on youtube using different methods. As I can't achieve better than 50% success, I can't rely on this as a piece of safety equipment. Binned it.

Good for unexpected use, perhaps not for regular intended use to to narrow rope. Packs small, works fine and easy to repack. Text on bag rubs off easily.

I use this throw-bag for demonstration purposes and teaching but of course it would be used to save a life if necessary.Light and portable, easy to carry and good value for money.

Hopefully will never need but so many people do not understand the dangers of fishing our lakes and rivers.

Great value ... have not had opportunity to try it out yet - phew!. Looks fit for purpose though.
