Working on an antique gun that needs A LOT of work. Pretty sure it had been packed in oil at some point, had several parts caked with thick residue. This cleaner cut beautifully through all the disgusting build up! Smell wasn't horrendous, but would do in a well ventilated area anyways, I started outside and did small touch ups indoors. I would recommend this for just about any purpose you have for cleaning up the excess gunk.

Works Great to Clean Your Firearms
I bought this cleaning kit to replace my old Birchwood Casey firearm cleaning supplies that I've had for years. I know some say firearm cleaning supplies will last forever or a long time, but I decided to buy cleaning solvents. Good product but hazardous
Does a great job. Using it, you should use a facemask and rubber gloves. And maybe do the cleaning outside if you can.
