Great for bruises
I purchased this because of the main ingredient - arnica. Arnica is known to help with bruises. I applied this at least 2 times a day (probably closer to 3 times) and a bruise I had was almost gone in a few days, went from purple to barely there. Helped with the pain too (was a pretty deep bruise). The scent is strong (menthol/eucalyptus type of smell), so if you are sensitive to scents, don't purchase this. Otherwise, I highly recommend for people that are prone to bruising or just to have when you need it.

This arnica cream is seriously the BEST!
This arnica cream is truly lovely. Makes me realize I've been "slumming it" with my old brand. This cream has a nice consistency... a little goes a long way and absorbs nicely. It's not waxy or overly greasy and has just a hint of cooling menthol. My test for arnica concentration in a product like this is always to observe how much it shortens the time it normally takes me to get rid of a bruise (with a single daily application). This one is very good! Possibly the best I've ever tried. I even love the smell... which is almost undetectable...faintly herbal with a hint of mint. No synthetic fragrance or dyes. This was such a great find!

The only one that works for me
This stuff works! I have tried several other brands on arnica cream and nothing even comes close to the effectiveness of this one. This is the only one that heals my bruises quickly. I swear by this stuff.

local pain relief during pregnancy that actually works!
Where has this been all my life?! It is a new staple for me.FRT I'm 8mo pregnant & have been using this so much since purchasing it, I even bought 2 more to give to the new moms I'll be seeing at upcoming showers. This cream has greatly helped reduce the tenderness and aches all over my body. I'm using it: across my belly where I can feel and see the tissue separation around my belly button, on my breasts which are also sore & tender, on my round ligaments, and really anywhere that I need pain relief.It's not a cure all, but iykyk, pregnancy can be rough on the body & there are very few options to treat pain or other ailments during this phase of life.

Provides temporary help for some pain relief - but unsuitable for shingles pain relief
When you're looking for shingles pain relief (after the scabs have fallen off - sorry to be graphic..) and you want your skin to clear - this is of very little help.. It initially feels good but in a half an hour seems to cause an internal type of constriction (hard to explain) which REALLY HURTS! So, this'll have to be discarded.. Popping pain-killers, even OTC is not an option - but neither, sadly, is this.. It has a nice texture, perfect packaging (non space hogging tube), nice scent but does not help in my case.. I did go to the doctor - but I came out worse than when I went in, specially after dutifully ingesting the rotten pills they prescribed! So fed up of the doctor experience! After making you worse off than when you went in - Here's a pain-killer prescription is all they can say?! No thank you!
